Gold is getting in on the hustle too! Gate launches 7×23 gold CFD trading—would even Wall Street dare clock out this early?
Trading gold used to feel like a 9-to-5 job; now, with Gate launching 7×23 gold CFD trading, market participants have another way to follow gold price movements.
What does that mean? Simply put, while gold prices are still dancing, you don’t have to sit on the sidelines and watch. Of course, 7×23 doesn’t mean around-the-clock trading all year; check the platform’s announcements for the specific trading hours and rules.
Is this move an opportunity, or just another reason f

Thailand’s Supreme Court has just delivered a decisive ruling: Bitcoin is now formally recognized as “property” under the law.
The case stemmed from a criminal proceeding—the victim exchanged $50,000 for $BT , only to be tricked by a scam ring. The central issue at trial was whether electronic currency falls within the scope of “property being infringed.”
The full bench of judges ultimately ruled that BTC has market value, can be traded and converted into cash, and can be held and actually controlled by the public; it is by no means “a string of worthless data.” It therefore clearly constitute

Why might the traded price shown by an exchange not be the price you ultimately get?
In crypto trading, you may see Bitcoin fluctuating around a certain price. But after clicking buy, you may find that your average execution price is higher than expected. The same goes for selling: the price shown on screen may look favorable, but the amount you ultimately receive may be less than you expected.
This does not necessarily mean something is wrong with the exchange. The latest traded price, bid and ask quotes, and your actual execution price can differ.
First, the latest traded price is not the pr

Except for AI Cloud, growth across all of GOOG’s businesses fell short of expectations.
AI Cloud doesn’t seem consumer-facing either; almost all its users are businesses (like Anthropic), after all, who actually uses it?
Google’s earnings report actually says a lot.
Consumer weakness, business contraction.
It just depends on whether you’re willing to see it...

The Cave Allegory
The author is the ancient Greek philosopher Plato
(428/427–348/347 BC).
At the beginning of Book VII of his dialogue
The Republic,
Plato tells this allegory through his teacher Socrates.
A group of prisoners are confined in a cave
from birth until they grow up.
Their hands and feet are chained, so they cannot turn around.
They can only look at the wall in front of them.
Behind them is a bonfire
that lights up the entire cave.
Whenever people outside walk past
carrying various tools and equipment,
the fire casts their shadows onto the wall.
The prisoners have never seen the ou

$PEPE ’s strength and crowding are appearing at the same time; the first pullback will be the real test
The current price of 0.00000506 USDT is like a sheet of paper folded over and over. $PEPE surged from 0.00000457 to 0.00000524 in 24 hours. Behind the +9.85% gain lies a subtler signal: both the 1-hour and 4-hour charts look strong, but trading participation is only 0.05x. This combination of strength and crowding often tests judgment more than a simple rise or fall.
My view: the trend is still strong, but whether buyers show up at these highs matters more than chasing the rally with a story.

For decades, books and movies have warned us about a war between humans and AI.
What once seemed like science fiction is becoming a serious question about our future.
In The Terminator, an AI defense system called Skynet becomes self aware, launches a nuclear attack, and starts a war against humanity.
In The Matrix, machines win the war against humans and use humanity as a resource while keeping people trapped inside a simulated reality. A small human resistance fights to take back control.
In DUNE, The Butlerian Jihad, humanity fights a massive war against intelligent machines that have ensla

If an account goes from 2,000 to 3,000, can you say you made 1,000? Not so fast—you also need to check whether any new money was deposited along the way.
Suppose the account’s total assets were 2,000 yuan at the beginning of the month, and another 1,500 yuan was deposited during the month, with no withdrawals. If total assets reach 3,000 yuan by month-end, then assuming there were no other inflows or outflows, you actually lost 500 yuan rather than made 1,000 yuan.
Conversely, if you had 2,000 yuan at the beginning of the month, withdrew 800 yuan during the month, and had 1,500 yuan left at mo

Why Can a Trading Strategy with a High Win Rate Still Lose Money in the End?
In cryptocurrency trading, many people focus heavily on the win rate. Winning eight out of ten trades looks quite impressive. But if the account still ends up in the red, the problem may not be the win rate, but the amount won and lost on each trade.
Suppose a trader makes 10 trades, winning 8 of them and earning 10 USDT per win; the other 2 trades lose 50 USDT each.
The 8 wins bring in 80 USDT, while the 2 losses result in a loss of 100 USDT. Without considering fees and funding rates, the final result is still a los

Why might holding multiple related cryptocurrencies still fail to truly diversify risk?
In cryptocurrency trading, some people hold BTC, ETH, and other altcoins at the same time to reduce risk. They believe that as long as they hold enough different cryptocurrencies, gains in other assets may make up for losses if one of them falls.
But there is an easily overlooked issue: holding multiple different cryptocurrencies does not mean you have truly diversified your risk. If these assets are highly correlated under market stress, they may fall at the same time.
First, why might different cryptocurr

The higher the reward-to-risk ratio, the lower the win rate required.
《The Art of Trading》 includes a table calculating the win rate needed to break even. Put simply:
Make 1, lose 1: you need to win half the time;
Make 3, lose 1: a 25% win rate breaks even;
Make 10, lose 1: a win rate of around 9% breaks even;
Conversely, lose 3 to make 1: you need to win 75% of the time just to break even.
That’s why the book sets a threshold for planned trades: “The initial reward-to-risk ratio must be at least 3:1 to plan a trade” (《The Art of Trading》, p. 9). In context, this means making 3 and losing 1.

What exactly is the difference between limit orders and market orders? Many people get it wrong from the start
In cryptocurrency trading, placing an order may seem as simple as clicking buy or sell, but different order types affect how trades are filled, how much control you have over the price, and the execution risks. Understanding limit and market orders is an important first step toward disciplined trading.
First, limit orders: prioritize price control.
A limit order lets you specify the highest price you are willing to pay to buy or the lowest price you are willing to accept to sell. For
