I'd watch three possible developments:
Bullish defence: price tests the $555–560 region, rejects lower prices, and reclaims a nearby intraday high. That would suggest buyers are absorbing the selling.
Bearish breakdown: price closes below the zone on the timeframe, then fails to reclaim it on a retest. That would strengthen the case for a deeper retracement.
False breakdown: price briefly dips below the zone, triggers liquidations, and quickly recovers. That could trap late shorts and produce a sharp squeeze.
I would treat $555–560 as a potential decision zone, not a guaranteed bottom. The ne

📊 CPI data is in, and the market faces another multiple-choice question.
U.S. September CPI and core CPI both came in above expectations, showing that cooling inflation will not be so smooth. What changes will come next in Federal Reserve rate-cut expectations and market sentiment?

💭 Will BTC face short-term pressure, or rebound after the negative news is priced in?
📈 Which will be affected more: U.S. stocks, gold, or the crypto market?
👀 Will you buy the dip, wait for stabilization, or reduce your positions for now?
The data is just the beginning; how the market moves is more worth discussing.

CPI Data (when it releases) and it's Read.
Bullish surprise: Core CPI at 0.1% or lower monthly, particularly if headline inflation also undershoots expectations.
Mixed: Headline CPI comes in hot because of gasoline, but core CPI meets or beats expectations.
Bearish surprise: Core CPI at 0.3% or higher monthly, especially alongside hotter headline inflation.

Fermi's June 2026 quarterly filing says it has not yet generated operating revenue and that completing Phase 0 and Phase 1 could require more than $3 billion in additional capital expenditure. It also warns that the TensorWave lease depends on financing and other closing conditions.
A delay at any stage can push revenue further into the future. And if financing becomes more expensive because of global instability, the project's economics could deteriorate even without a direct physical disruption.
Bottom line

Fermi Stock Surges 14% on AMD Credit Guarantee and 222MW Power Partnership Deal
According to Investing.com, Fermi Inc. (NAS:FRMI) stock surged 14% on October 13, closing at $3.72, following the announcement of a major credit guarantee and partnership agreement with semiconductor company AMD (NAS:AMD). Under the agreement, AMD will provide credit support for a 222-megawatt

After checked the regular-session data for Tuesday, October 13. AMD cash shares closed at $605.49, up 1.89% on the day, after plunging to an intraday low of $570.99. That's a $34.50 recovery from the low to the close.
Why that close matters
The $571–573 area attracted buyers. The daily EMA 50 was near $572.59, and price recovered strongly from that region.
The $599–600 battle was pivotal. Buyers reclaiming that area and pushing higher.
The close above $600 is constructive, but it doesn't erase the broader correction from the $658.87 high. AMD still needs to prove it can sustain the recovery.

looking at the previous day reaction to the sell pressure around $572, and how quickly the price recovered from that range and closing above the critical range of $600 gives me hope for the coming days in this week.
Very healthy and strong reaction by the Bulls.

Bullish scenario: The daily EMA 50 holds, price reclaims $590 and then $600, and buyers manage to sustain the recovery. That would suggest the sell-off is finding demand, but it would not yet reverse the whole daily downtrend.
Bearish scenario: The daily candle closes decisively below $572–573, followed by a failed reclaim. That would weaken the support thesis and open the door to lower levels.

📉 AI enthusiasm remains strong, yet storage chip stocks have cooled across the board?
The three major U.S. stock indexes all closed lower, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index falling about 2.6% and the storage sector coming under clear pressure.
SanDisk fell nearly 6%, Micron nearly 4%, while Seagate and Western Digital also moved lower.
The storage chip sector, which had attracted significant attention recently, is now undergoing a correction.
Is this short-term profit-taking, or is the market beginning to reassess AI demand and chip stock valuations?
AI computing demand remains a long-term theme in focus, but whether stock prices can continue rising will still need to be validated by earnings and growth expectations.
💬 In this pullback, are you more focused on rebound opportunities in SanDisk and Micron, or do you plan to remain on the sidelines?

My closing read
Bearish continuation:
The $600 area failed to hold during the regular session. If price remains below $600 and rebounds get rejected, sellers retain the advantage. Today's low near $586.5 is the immediate downside reference.
Relief bounce possible, not confirmed
A rebound from today's low could happen after such a sharp decline. But reclaiming $600 and holding it would be the first improvement; $608–613 is a much more meaningful recovery zone.

The bigger picture is interesting:
My volume-profile thesis was that losing the overlapping POC around $612–613could pull price toward the VAL around $600–601.Look at where we are now.
Next downside reference:
The 4H EMA 200 sits near $590.53.If $600breaks decisively, this becomes a level to watch—not a guaranteed target.
$608–614Reclaim zone:
A recovery into this range followed by rejection would support the bearish continuation thesis. A sustained reclaim would weaken it.

Today's macro picture has already shifted somewhat: Reuters reported oil easing and US futures recovering on October 9 after the previous session's tech sell-off. That doesn't erase the damage, but it means we shouldn't assume yesterday's selling pressure will continue uninterrupted.
My bias: bearish while AMD remains below the $630–636 recovery zone, with $600 a credible downside magnet if $613 breaks. But I would not short simply because $600 looks attractive; I'd want to see sellers confirm the breakdown.

The latest sell-off wasn't purely technical. Semiconductor stocks fell after reports raised concerns about OpenAI's revenue outlook and the returns on heavy AI infrastructure spending. AMD dropped about 3.9% in the October 8 session. The reported revenue discrepancy also involves different accounting methods, so it isn't proof that AI demand has collapsed.
My bias: 60% bearish, 40% bullish.
Bullish confirmation zone:
A sustained move above $636.5
Downside warning:
Losing the recent rebound base around $623 would weaken the recovery.

AMD right now: violent two-sided auction, with a slight bearish tilt.
55–60% bearish / 40–45% bullish, but I would not call this a good clean trend trade.
It's a fucking knife fight inside 633–646 at the moment.
And honestly, the cleanest signal I'd want is not another wick. I want to see where the 1H candle actually closes.
Above 642–646 ---- bears losing their grip.
Below 632–633 ---- bulls finally losing the floor.

The interesting part is the 645 area
This is basically the current decision zone.
#Bull case:
Hold/reclaim 645
Then 648–650
Acceptance above 650 puts the recent ATH 658.52 back in play.
If 650 gets reclaimed while Gate's large-trader positioning remains slightly net-long despite the huge short-account population, that could get spicy.
#Bear case:
Rejection around 645–650
Lose 638 → 635
Then I'd start watching 630 → 626
And yes, 626 would be a beautiful little retest, which I am eyeing for. 😏

Bullish Scenario: If the price maintains above $2.28 with increasing volume and positive funding rates, a long position targeting $2.35 could be considered.
Bearish Scenario: If the price falls below $2.15 and funding rates remain negative, it might be prudent to wait for clearer bullish signals before re-entering.
Always ensure to conduct thorough research and consider consulting with a financial advisor before making trading decisions.
