Zha Nan’s live trading: CL update 11.2
CL reached a high near 105, and so far this weekend, it looks like there’s been a slight pullback.
Looking at the candlestick chart, let’s first watch the 20-day moving average (around 100), which was also the previous neckline.
If it breaks below that, an M-top could form, with a move down to the 30-day moving average (around 97). If I remember correctly, Zha Nan had a long order placed at 97.3.
If things play out according to the revised script, US tech stocks will rebound.
Let’s wait and see$CL

Bitcoin's quietly grinding up into the weekly close. Sitting around $78.4K, up about 1% on the day and right near its 24h high.
Nothing flashy, but after the month we just had I'll take a boring green Sunday.
Anyone else watching the Monday open tonight? #Bitcoin

LINKUSDT Short-Term Weakness: Key Levels to Watch Amid Sluggish Volume
$LINK The current price is 11.348, down 2.818% over the past 24 hours, with an intraday high of 11.87 and a low of 11.226. On shorter time frames, the 1-hour trend is weak, and the 4-hour trend is also weak. The two time frames are aligned, with no clear signal of disagreement between bulls and bears. However, this consistent weakness means downward momentum remains in place, with no clear sign of a bottom. In a multi-time-frame analysis framework, the short- and medium-term directions have not diverged. This consistency ty

That sea of red on your screen: Is it just a price drop, or the collapse of a narrative?
Looking at your screen, you see a 28% plunge in Intel, a 13% drop in SanDisk, and a 10% decline in AMD. At first glance, these numbers might make you wonder, "Did I miss something?" But the real issue goes deeper: this isn't just a bad day at the office. Behind these figures lies Intel’s decision to lower its fourth-quarter revenue guidance—from $17 billion down to a range of $15–16 billion—along with an admission that demand for PC chips is weakening. What’s being called into question isn't merely the com

A Historic Day for Intel: The Sharpest Decline in 52 Years
On Friday, many investors on Wall Street encountered a figure that made them double-check what they were seeing: Intel shares plummeted by 28.6% in a single trading session. This marks the company’s steepest daily decline since 1974. But why? While Intel’s third-quarter results actually exceeded expectations, its guidance for the fourth quarter fell short—and the market responded with a clear, decisive verdict. In my view, the real lesson here is that in the stock market, "doing well today" and "promising to do well tomorrow" are two entirely different stories. Investors look to the future, and sometimes, that future speaks much more harshly than the present.
A $600 Million Price Tag for a Factory Accident
Behind every set of numbers lies a human story. Part of the challenges Intel faced this quarter stemmed from an explosion at a facility in Israel. Company management described it as an "unfortunate and tragic accident," noting that it led to a prolonged shutdown affecting the shipment of 10-nanometer chips—a disruption expected to result in a revenue loss of approximately $600 million over two quarters. It serves as a reminder that a company’s fate can be shaped not only by multi-billion-dollar strategies but also by events unfolding within a single facility. It is a reality I always keep in mind: not every market movement is merely a reflection of a balance sheet—sometimes, it is the real world spilling over into the numbers. The Long Winter of the PC Market: Intel’s Real Fear
The most striking message in the company’s guidance concerned the PC sector: a forecast that the slowdown in the computer market could persist through the first half of next year—with the possibility that the market might even contract in 2026. Take a moment to reflect on that. One of the oldest stalwarts of the chip world can no longer base its planning on the assumption that "everyone is buying a computer." High memory prices are driving up the cost of PCs, putting a brake on demand. This is a reality that the entire ecosystem—from suppliers to retailers—must now re-evaluate in terms of pricing. The market, in turn, has felt the immediate pain of this necessary repricing.
A $1 Trillion Day: The Snowball Effect in Semiconductors
Friday’s events weren't just about Intel. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell by more than 7.2%, wiping out approximately $1 trillion in market value in a single day. SanDisk dropped nearly 13%, while AMD and Qualcomm fell by around 10%; Micron, Nvidia, Broadcom—all swept up in the same wave. Why did all these companies see their stocks sold off in response to Intel’s guidance? Because the modern tech world functions like a single organism: if one part weakens, the entire body catches the chill. However, it would be a mistake to jump to panic; the wave will pass, and a distinction will emerge between those that have recovered and those still in the midst of treatment. It is crucial not to conflate the long-term narrative of the sector with its knee-jerk, single-day reactions.
Nasdaq’s Worst Day Since June: Questioning the Cost of AI
Intel was not the sole trigger for this sell-off; Amazon’s results also fell short of expectations, and taken together, they have amplified a growing question in the market: with such massive spending on artificial intelligence, will the returns and cash flow be enough to sustain it? On Friday, the Nasdaq recorded its sharpest daily decline since June. It is estimated that over $500 billion has been poured into this sector in the first nine months of the year alone. So, is this the "end"? No—it is a "moment of reckoning." Innovation can come at a high cost, but eventually, that cost must be accounted for. Right now, the market is doing exactly that.
A Quiet Close: What Does This Picture Tell Us?
When I synthesize all this data, the lesson for the individual investor can be summed up in three points: First, a "good company" and a "good stock" are not necessarily the same thing—Intel, for instance, had surged nearly 250% earlier this year, with its valuation priced based on pure optimism. Second, the market can shift direction on the back of a single figure—be it a piece of guidance, a balance sheet entry, or a forecast; it remains a realm of possibilities until proven otherwise. Third, and most importantly, on days as volatile as this, those who listen rather than those who rush are the ones who come out ahead—the key lies in distinguishing between what has truly changed and what has merely shifted due to sentiment.

The U.S. midterm elections are entering the final stretch, with control of both chambers of Congress still at stake. Inflation, energy prices, tariffs and economic policy remain key voter concerns, while the result could shape fiscal, trade and regulatory policy over the next two years. If the balance of power in Congress changes, which policies could be affected first? How might U.S. stocks, gold and crypto trade the election outcome? Are you watching fiscal policy, tariffs or crypto regulation most closely?
