July CPI came in at 3.4% YoY and +0.1% MoM. Inflation is cooling compared with June, which is encouraging. 📊
But 3.4% is still elevated, so I wouldn’t call this a full green light yet. Markets may react positively first, but Fed expectations will remain important.
