The most important signal today wasn’t how much it rose, but that it couldn’t hold its gains. On election night, BTC first crashed to 75,700. Overnight, the Dow surged 1,569 points and spot ETFs saw net inflows of $74.6 million, helping BTC make a V-shaped recovery to 81,196. But after the Asian session, it gave back gains all the way to around 79,600 this evening. The 80,000 level was contested repeatedly today, not decisively taken.

I didn’t place a trade on the lead-trading account today. I’m resetting and reviewing. I shorted as usual on another account, and the returns were decent... I just wanted to test whether I’d keep making the same mistakes... After thinking it over, no matter what the market does, from now on I’ll just use a stop-loss to keep the damage to a minimum.
