For long-term AI growth, my top pick would be TSMC (2330), while MediaTek (2454) could offer higher return potential if it successfully scales its AI accelerator business.
* TSMC: My highest-conviction pick. Its advanced 2nm manufacturing process and cutting-edge packaging technologies place it at the heart of the global AI chip supply chain. TSMC reported a 41.2% year-over-year revenue increase for the third quarter of 2026.
* MediaTek: My speculative pick, targeting higher growth. Its expansion into custom AI accelerators could create a significant new revenue stream.
* Other AI opportunities: I might also keep an eye on ASE Technology (3711), which operates in the semiconductor packaging and testing sector.
My ranking:
* TSMC – the strongest long-term fundamentals.
* MediaTek – potentially higher growth, but with greater execution risk.
* ASE Technology – exposure to the broader AI semiconductor supply chain.
If I had to choose just one, it would be TSMC. The greatest opportunity may lie not in betting on an individual AI chip designer, but in owning the company that manufactures the chips powering the AI revolution.
Naturally, when investing via USDT, one must also consider valuation, exchange rate risk,
and the trading fees on the Gate platform.
