Democrats on track to win both chambers, which puts the CLARITY Act in doubt 😕

Early US midterm results favor Democrats. They flipped North Carolina's Senate seat and held Georgia, Virginia and New Hampshire. Kalshi and Polymarket put Democratic control of both chambers at about 99%, though many races haven't been called yet. A Democratic Congress would likely stall or reshape the CLARITY bill, which sets rules for crypto markets, and bring more scrutiny of Trump-linked crypto ventures. SEC and CFTC rulemaking can still move ahead on its own. Bitcoin dipped just under $77K as Nasdaq futures fell about 1.5%. In Kentucky, Republican Andy Barr, who has crypto industry backing, won the Senate seat.

Have Kalshi and Polymarket data ever disagreed? This time, though, they’re surprisingly aligned

What would a reshaped CLARITY look like? Would stablecoin regulation pass separately?
