Why this event matters

Gate Social is where the Gate community shows up every day: live rooms, posts, comments, shares, and fan support. The Year-End Gala turns that activity into formal recognition. Two award categories, Streamer of the Year and Creator of the Year, honor the people who kept the community active across 2026. Both the Chinese-speaking division and the Global division open at the same time, so creators from different language communities compete on their own ladders.

Registration: November 3, 2026, 02:00 to November 10, 2026, 15:59 (UTC). In UTC+8 this is November 3 at 10:00 through November 10 at 23:59.

Official voting: November 16, 2026, 00:00 to November 28, 2026, 15:59 (UTC).

Registration is the first stage. Streamers and creators who register for their category and pass the preliminary selection advance to the official voting stage. Anyone who wants to back a favorite creator should note that voting does not open until November 16.

How the competition works

Each category has a Chinese Division and a Global Division. Winners are the Top 20 in each division, ranked separately within their division by the total valid Support Points received during the official voting period. Streamers and creators are not ranked against each other across divisions, so a strong creator in one language group is not competing directly with the other group.

How voting points are earned

During the official voting stage, users complete designated tasks to earn Support Points. Every 100 Support Points can be used to cast one vote, and each successful 100-point submission also grants one lucky draw entry. The daily task list is broad, which means regular community members have real ways to take part without spending money. Examples from the official task list include:

Watching livestreams, with 5 points for every 5 minutes, up to 50 points per day.
Leaving valid comments in 3 different livestream rooms, worth 10 points.
Following 3 new streamers, worth 10 points.
Liking livestreams 10 times, worth 5 points.
Sharing 2 livestreams, worth 10 points.
Reserving a livestream, worth 2 points, up to 20 per day.
Successfully joining one co-hosting session, worth 10 points.
Tipping a streamer for the first time each day with a single tip of at least 1 USDT, worth 50 points.
Sharing the event on social media, worth 20 points.
Publishing one valid Gate Square post of at least 10 characters, worth 20 points.
Commenting on 3 Gate Square posts, worth 10 points.
Liking 5 Gate Square posts, worth 5 points.
Sharing a trading card on social media, worth 10 points.
Completing one copy trade through a Gate Square post, worth 50 points.
Sharing or reposting 2 Gate Square posts, worth 10 points each.
Following 3 new Gate Square users, worth 10 points.
Completing the first Gate Square user subscription of the day, worth 30 points.
Sending a first message in Gate Chat, worth 5 points.

Voting points are valid only during the event and cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash. Task completion and valid points are subject to the records shown on the event page, so check your own progress there.

Rewards for the Global Division

Both categories use the same reward structure in the Global Division:

No. 1: 50 USDT plus a VIP5 badge.
No. 2 to 3: 30 USDT plus a VIP5 badge.
No. 4 to 6: 20 USDT plus a VIP5 badge.
No. 7 to 10: 10 USDT plus a VIP5 badge.
No. 11 to 20: a 300 USDT Position Voucher plus a VIP5 badge.

Top 20 winners in each category also receive the official title "Gate 2026 Outstanding Streamer" or "Gate 2026 Outstanding Content Creator." Final rankings and winners are verified and announced after the event ends.

Fan Leaderboard

A separate Fan Leaderboard ranks users by total valid Support Points across both the Streamer and Creator categories. The Top 100 fans share rewards that include a Bialetti Brikka Moka Pot for No. 1, a JBL GO4 speaker for No. 2, a Philips Sonicare toothbrush for No. 3, ROKR Globe models for No. 4 to 10, 1 GT for No. 11 to 20, and a 100 USDT Position Voucher for No. 21 to 100. Final fan rankings are based on verified Support Point records after the event.

Lucky draw

Each 100-point submission gives one lucky draw entry. The prize pool includes a MacBook Neo fragment grand prize, where collecting all required fragments lets you redeem a MacBook Neo.
