What project does - aim:
Zcash aim is to give cash-like privacy on chain. Core is zk-SNARK shielded pools for private send, with option for open tx. Goal is to be Bitcoin with privacy switch. Sprout was first pool 2016, now Orchard is main.

Legacy Sprout tx will stop, funds must move in two-week window or become unspendable. Price $1,250-1,269 near $1,200 support before fork, vs Sep peak $1,650. ETF inflows $41M renewed, open interest $4.55B. Market cap ∼$22B. Head and shoulders risk flagged if $1,150 fails.

1 - NU7 speed: 25-sec blocks lift UX, key for pay use.
2 - Sprout sunset: Closes old risk, but forces move, watch for stuck funds.
