Bitcoin is trying to recover, but I am not convinced that the correction is over yet.
BTC is hovering around the $77,900 area after losing momentum near $82,000. Buyers are attempting to stabilize the market, but the recovery still needs confirmation. For me, this is a zone where patience matters more than chasing every green candle.
The most important level I am watching is $79,000. If Bitcoin can reclaim this resistance with strong buying volume and hold it on a retest, the next potential targets are $80,000, $81,300 and eventually $82,000.
However, if BTC continues getting rejected below $79,000, sellers could regain control. A breakdown below $77,000 would increase the possibility of a move toward $76,300–$76,000. If that support fails, the $75,000 region could become the next area of interest.
My trading strategy
I am watching two possible setups rather than predicting one direction.
Scenario 1 – Long setup
Entry zone: $78,800–$79,100 after a confirmed breakout and successful retest.
Stop-loss: $78,000.
Take-profit 1: $80,000.
Take-profit 2: $81,300.
Take-profit 3: $82,000.
Scenario 2 – Short setup
Entry zone: $76,900–$77,000 after a confirmed breakdown and failed retest.
Stop-loss: $77,800.
Take-profit 1: $76,300.
Take-profit 2: $75,500.
Take-profit 3: $75,000.
These are conditional setups, not market orders. I would wait for confirmation on the 15-minute and 1-hour charts before considering either trade.
My personal view
I don't want to confuse a temporary bounce with a genuine trend reversal. Bitcoin needs to recover $79,000–$80,000 to improve its short-term structure. Until then, I prefer protecting capital, keeping leverage controlled and waiting for a cleaner opportunity.
Sometimes the best trade is the one you don't force.
