Solana is approaching an important technical decision zone. After experiencing selling pressure, SOL is attempting to stabilize around $95.50–$96.00. However, buyers have not yet demonstrated enough strength to confirm a sustained recovery.

The important question for traders is whether this area becomes a base for another upward move or simply a temporary pause before further downside.

Current market situation

SOL is trading around $95.50, with a market capitalization of approximately $56.4 billion. Its 24-hour trading volume is around $1.4–$2 billion, depending on the reporting platform.

The token is down approximately 6–7% over the past seven days and remains significantly below its historical peak. This suggests that the broader trend is still under pressure despite occasional recovery attempts.

Important support levels

$95.00–$95.20 is the immediate support zone. Buyers need to defend this area to prevent additional weakness.

$93.50–$94.00 is the next important demand zone.

$91.50–$92.00 is a stronger downside area where buyers could attempt another recovery.

A sustained breakdown below $91.50 would increase downside risk.

Resistance and next upside targets

$96.20–$96.50 is the immediate resistance zone.

$97.50–$98.00 is the next important breakout level.

$100.00 is the psychological resistance and potential upside objective.

If SOL reclaims $100 with strong volume, the recovery could extend toward $103–$105.

Volume and market momentum

Trading volume is an important confirmation signal. A breakout above $96.50 with increasing volume would suggest improving demand. However, a rally accompanied by declining volume could indicate weak buying conviction.

Traders should also monitor open interest, funding rates and liquidation activity. Increasing leveraged long positions without corresponding spot demand can create additional downside risk.

Trading strategies

Bullish scenario: Wait for a confirmed breakout above $96.50 and a successful retest. Potential targets are $98, $100 and $103. Invalidation should be below the confirmed retest structure.

Bearish scenario: If SOL loses $95 and fails to reclaim it, downside targets could include $94 and $92. A confirmed breakdown below $91.50 would further weaken the structure.

Support-based entry: Watch for a bullish reaction around $93.50–$94.00 rather than blindly buying a falling market.

My outlook

I remain cautious on SOL in the short term. The project has a strong ecosystem, but fundamentals alone cannot reverse a bearish technical structure.

The $95 support zone and $96.50 resistance are the immediate levels to watch. A breakout above resistance could bring $100 into focus, while a failure to defend support could expose $92.

For now, patience is more valuable than chasing every recovery candle. Let price action and volume confirm the next move before committing capital.

The psychological level of 100 isn't that easy to break through—don't get carried away

The longer it consolidates around 96, the more sharply it will move when it chooses a direction

If the price breaks below 91.5, the downside opens up

You can accumulate spot slowly, but I really don’t dare open futures positions recklessly

Down 6-7% over the past seven days, SOL can hardly escape the broader market's instability either
