BTC 15-Minute Analysis: BTC Faces a Critical Battle Near $78,100
Bitcoin is trading around $78,100, and the 15-minute chart is approaching an important resistance area. Buyers are attempting to maintain short-term control, but the next move will depend on whether BTC can attract enough buying volume to break through the nearby supply zone.

Current market structure

BTC is trading near an important psychological level. The immediate resistance zone is $78,190–$78,400. A confirmed breakout above this region could improve bullish momentum and bring $78,800 into focus, followed by $79,200.

However, the market still needs confirmation. A temporary move above resistance without strong volume could turn into a false breakout.

Key support levels

$77,800–$77,700: Immediate support zone.

$77,500–$77,550: Secondary support and an important recovery area.

$76,930: Major intraday support. Losing this level would weaken the short-term bullish structure.

Resistance and upside targets

$78,190–$78,400: Immediate selling pressure.

$78,800: Second upside target.

$79,200: Major next resistance objective.

15-minute trading strategy

Bullish setup: Wait for a 15-minute candle close above $78,400, preferably followed by a successful retest. Potential targets are $78,800 and $79,200. Invalidation should be placed below the confirmed retest structure.

Bearish setup: If BTC gets rejected around $78,190–$78,400 and loses $77,700, sellers could push price toward $77,500 and potentially $76,930.

Volume and momentum

Volume confirmation is essential. Increasing buying volume during a breakout would support bullish continuation. Weak volume, declining open interest or aggressive long liquidations could indicate that the move is losing strength.

My outlook

I am cautiously bullish above $77,700, but I would not chase BTC directly into resistance. The $78,400 breakout is the important confirmation for buyers.

If resistance holds and support breaks, the short-term bias could quickly turn bearish.

The best strategy is to wait for the 15-minute candle close, follow volume and protect capital rather than entering on emotion.

There is considerable selling pressure around $78,190–78,400. A breakout would need to be accompanied by increased volume; for now, the market remains primarily range-bound, so entering early is not recommended

A successful retest is what makes it a real breakout; for now, this is just a test
