Bitcoin ($BTC ): Next key support levels after losing $80,000
Bitcoin's break below $80,000 is technically significant because that level can now act as resistance rather than support.
With BTC trading around $77,000 and selling pressure increasing, I would focus on $75,000–$76,000 as the next important support zone, followed by $72,000–$73,500 if sellers maintain control.
The key question is whether buyers can defend the $75K region or whether the market enters another leg lower.
Key BTC support map
Bitcoin (BTC) $77,379.00
Immediate support $76,900–$76,200 First buyer defense
Support 2 $75,850–$76,400 portant short-term demand
Support 3 $74,700–$75,000 Next downside target
Major support $72,000–$73,500 Potential stronger accumulation zone
Bearish extension $70,000–$71,000 Risk if major support fails
Current technical readings place the intraday pivot near $76,931 and daily downside targets near $76,420 and $74,791.
Three possible scenarios
1. Bullish recovery
BTC holds $76,200–$76,900.
Reclaims $78,000.
A sustained move above $80,000 would improve the technical picture.
2. Bearish continuation
BTC breaks below $76,000.
$74,700–$75,000 becomes the next target.
A daily close below $74,700 increases the probability of testing $72,000–$73,500.
3. Deeper correction
If $72,000–$73,500 fails decisively, traders should watch the $70,000 region.
My trading strategy
Avoid chasing short-term rebounds.
Watch for a confirmed reversal around $75K–$76K.
Consider staggered entries rather than committing all capital at once.
Place stop-losses below confirmed support, accounting for volatility.
Monitor Fed communication, Treasury yields and spot Bitcoin ETF flows.
My conclusion: The most important immediate level is $76,000. If BTC loses that zone on a convincing daily close, I would shift attention toward $74,800 and then $72,000–$73,500.
