Gate live price for Hyperliquid HYPE today is 91.64 USD, 24h change -2.57%, low 88.50, high 97.07, volume 57.11M USD. Gate board print 91.771 USD. This print came while BTC slipped below 80.000 and October closed red.
Why HYPE rose against market? Three allies.
Big ally 1: ICE and Trade XYZ. Intercontinental Exchange, parent of New York Stock Exchange, disclosed definitive deal with Trade XYZ to bring perpetual futures built on Hyperliquid to US traders. Perps that never expire are core product of Hyperliquid. ICE backing gives venue trust and US access.
Big ally 2: Heavy names and real fees. Stanley Druckenmiller backed round, Grayscale noted Hyperliquid outsourced revenue hit 38M USD last month. Fee rank stayed top, at times second only to Tether, ahead of many L1s. That shows product use, not just price talk.
Big ally 3: Supply cut. On Oct 29, Hyperliquid burned 49.87M HYPE, 4.99% of max supply of one billion. Annual supply growth now -3.02% versus ETH +0.83% and SOL +3.75%. Deflation plus high fees gives holders reason to hold while others sell.
Liquidation data: Coinglass showed 30.86M USD in HYPE liquidations, mostly shorts, as price ripped 18% to 25% in three days, pushing into top 10 by market cap and overtaking Zcash. Price held near 79 to 93 USD even as rest of market saw outflows.
Trader read: Key level is 88.50 low and 97.07 high from Gate. Hold above 88.50 keeps momentum. Close above 91.77 to 93.00 opens push toward 100 USD round figure. If BTC loses 76.400 to 76.500 support and risk off deepens, even strong allies can wobble. Watch funding, open interest, and burn schedule.
