#BTC大跌 #ShareWeekly $BTC
BTC lost $80K, wicked down to about $76.3K overnight and is now sitting near $77K, down more than 4% on the day. A security incident at a major exchange lit the fuse, but I don’t think that explains the whole move. Here’s how I’m reading it, with levels from my daily chart.
1. The fuse vs the fuel
The trigger was a reported ~$6.3B hack at a large exchange, and the exchange itself says roughly half of it is frozen. That hurts confidence, but price only drops this fast when there’s fuel. Liquidation snapshots put forced closes anywhere between $1.1B and $1.55B depending on the timestamp, and in both about 86% were longs. Different windows, same story: crowded longs sitting under $80K got flushed. I trust that 86% more than any single total.
2. Deep correction or weakening trend?
Honest answer: a bit of both. We’re roughly 11-12% off the early-October high near $87K, and every bounce keeps failing under $80K. ETF demand hasn’t been a safety net either. One tracker showed about $679M leaving in the week of Oct 5-9 and another $228M the week after, with a $527M inflow day on Oct 19 that still left October slightly negative. That’s choppy, not committed demand. A flush on top of lukewarm demand is where I stay careful, not heroic.
3. The support map (reference: ~$77,000)
Down:
76,285 → -0.9%. Lines up with the overnight low, so it’s the first line.
75,500 → -1.9%. A round-number shelf, and an area price defended in September.
73,133 → -5.0%. The long-term moving average on my chart. One analyst also flags the 200-day near 73K.
Up:
78,580 → +2.1%
80,614 → +4.7%
81,939 → +6.4%
84,384 → +9.6%
Price is also sitting right on its 365-day average, around 77,400-77,600 depending on the data provider. A daily close under it matters more than any wick. The math: risk to 75,500 is about 1.9%, and the move back to 80,614 is about 4.7%, roughly 2.5 to 1. That’s arithmetic, not a call, because if 75.5K goes, the next real level is 5% lower.
4. Momentum
RSI is around 39 on my chart: weak, but not oversold (that’s below 30). MACD sits under its signal line with the histogram still negative. Translation: no capitulation signal yet, so another leg down is allowed.
5. The rates layer
The Fed raised in September to 3.75-4.00% and held this week, and prediction markets were pricing roughly a 70% chance of another hike in December as of last week. Higher yields plus a security scare is a bad pairing for risk appetite. Nothing in that says the pressure is over.
My take: this looks like a leverage flush inside a weakening trend, not a clean trend break yet. I’m treating 75,500 as the line. A daily close above ~78,600, then a reclaim of 80,614, says the shakeout is done. A daily close below 75,500 shifts my focus to the 73,100 area. Until one of those happens I’m not chasing in either direction, and any size I’d consider would be small, with the stop defined first.
Not financial advice.
Where’s your line: 76K, 75.5K or 73K? And do you buy the flush, or wait for 80K to come back?
