The pressure is also spreading into memory and semiconductor stocks. Micron closed its latest completed session at $934.27, down 4.98%, while SanDisk finished at $1,330.05, down 5.32%. The $952 area remains a key resistance to monitor for MU, while $1,360 is an important recovery test for SNDK. Until these stocks regain their lost levels, I would rather wait for confirmation than attempt to catch every dip.
There is also a fundamental catalyst behind the sudden weakness. Reports of a potential security incident and the freezing of more than $2.5 billion in assets added another layer of uncertainty to an already fragile market. This does not mean the entire decline is explained by that event. The broader technical breakdown and selling pressure were already important factors.
My main expectation is continued volatility rather than an immediate V-shaped recovery. The right-shoulder structure developed over several weeks, and a sustainable bottom may also require time, liquidity stabilization and repeated tests of demand. A quick bounce can happen, but a confirmed reversal needs stronger evidence.
For now, $76,000–$80,000 is the key BTC battle zone. Above $79,200, recovery has room to develop. Below $76,000, the downside scenario becomes more serious. I would rather miss the first part of a bounce than enter before the market proves that buyers are finally back.
The next move matters more than the first bounce. Patience and confirmation will be more valuable than trying to predict the exact bottom.
