Yesterday I saw $ETH drop to around 2,300 and thought, “This price is way too good,” and almost gave in and bought the dip.....
Then I checked on-chain: the Ethereum Foundation sold another 2,785 ETH, swapping it for around $6.42 million in stablecoins, and even split the sales into several small orders and sold them slowly!?
Last week, ETH spot ETFs were still seeing outflows of over $200 million, and even its own dad is running. What am I being so brave for? 🤣
Turns out the dip I thought I was buying was just me catching the Foundation’s bags again.....

Tom was still calling for the bull market to have started on Monday,
but BitMine bought just 10,452 $ETH last week, worth $24.5 million at an average price of $2,344;
and spent about $46 million buying back its own stock.
It’s just 58,000 coins away from its modest goal of holding 5% of the total $ETH supply,
but now, right at the finish line, it’s actually slowed down a bit.
Still, that’s okay—give the ETH army another 5 weeks to mentally prepare? 🤪

On October 27, Brent crude pulled back from a six-month high, while WTI fell to around $101. Qatar’s mediators put forward a “five-day concessions plan,” and senior officials from Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, and Pakistan flew to Tehran.
By the traditional playbook, oil prices fall → inflation eases → risk assets rebound, so BTC should rise.
Instead, BTC touched $80,000 twice, was knocked back twice, and ultimately closed at $79,841. Around $1.3 billion in positions were forcibly liquidated.
Good news came out, but the price didn’t move. That is more dangerous than a decline.

Trump’s approval rating rebounds, but Democrats still lead! Are U.S. stocks and Bitcoin about to ride another Washington roller coaster?
Trump’s approval rating has just shown signs of recovery, but Democrats still hold an advantage in overall congressional election polling. This midterm election is increasingly looking like a political bull-versus-bear showdown: one side touts good news, the other fires blanks, and the market may end up footing the bill.
For U.S. stocks, the biggest impact of the midterms isn’t who wins a debate on TV, but whether policy changes down the road. Taxes, corporat

$BZ Crude oil loadings from the Persian Gulf have climbed back to around 90% of pre-conflict levels, and Saudi shipments are even flowing faster than before the war, yet Brent prices remain stuck around $110.
The issue isn’t whether the oil can be shipped out, but how much it costs to get it out. Routes have been forced to take detours, oil is being transferred between vessels offshore, and war-risk insurance premiums have soared to absurd levels. Freight costs from the Middle East to Asia at one point surged to more than 20 times normal levels, sharply driving up refineries’ landed costs.

If the Fed holds rates steady this week, Fed Chair Warsh will face a familiar challenge: convincing investors that the Fed is committed to curbing inflation while explaining why officials chose not to raise rates. This is just like July------investors were not surprised by the decision to hold rates steady, but were unhappy with Warsh’s reluctance to signal that further increases in borrowing costs might be needed.
After the September rate hike, markets again expect policymakers to hold rates steady this week. Expectations have therefore shifted to December, with the consensus being that the F
