If you follow corporate Bitcoin treasuries, you might have noticed something different this week. Strategy did not buy or sell any Bitcoin between October 19 and October 25, 2026. This breaks a five week pattern of adding coins to its balance sheet.

The company disclosed this in a regulatory filing. Its total holdings remain at 848,517 Bitcoin. The average purchase price across the entire treasury is about 75,446 dollars per coin. During the same period, the company repurchased 2.07 million shares of its STRC preferred stock for 204.9 million dollars. It did not sell any shares through its at the market offering program.

This pause matters because Strategy has been one of the largest corporate buyers of Bitcoin. A treasury strategy means a public company holds crypto on its balance sheet. When a major buyer slows down, it can change how the market feels about demand. However, data shows other large wallet holders have been accumulating Bitcoin in recent weeks.

Markets are watching whether this pause is temporary or a longer shift in strategy. Analysts note the company still has room under its repurchase programs. If buying resumes, it may support sentiment. If the pause continues, the market may look to other buyers for direction. The official filings remain the clearest signal.

What do you think matters more here, the pause in buying or the preferred stock repurchase. I am holding my positions and watching the market. This is not financial advice.
