Gate: Delivering Record Growth Across Every Dimension of a True Multi-Asset Financial Ecosystem
Gate continues to set the standard for what a modern, connected financial platform can achieve. In Q3 2026 the platform delivered outstanding results across trading, wealth management, traditional finance access, and overall ecosystem strength, proving once again why it stands among the industry leaders
September derivatives trading volume reached an impressive $396 billion, marking a powerful 38.2% month-over-month increase. This performance placed Gate firmly among the global Top 3 centralized derivatives exchanges, with market share rising to 10.1%. At the same time, spot trading volume climbed to $48.8 billion, up a solid 21.9% month-over-month. These figures are not isolated spikes — they reflect consistent momentum and deep user engagement across both derivatives and spot markets.
RWA perpetual contracts further strengthened Gate’s position, capturing a 9.1% market share and ranking third globally. Quarterly ETF trading volume approached an outstanding 60 billion USDT, while the number of supported ETF trading pairs expanded to 424.
Options trading volume grew 23.8% quarter-over-quarter, and the number of new options trading users surged an impressive 52.1%.
CrossEx quarterly trading volume increased 63%, retained assets grew an extraordinary 902%, and the number of trading users on the product rose approximately 315%
Beyond pure crypto trading, Gate has built one of the most comprehensive traditional finance offerings available on any digital platform. Global stock and ETF coverage expanded to more than 12,800 instruments, spanning the United States, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Japan. This includes more than 10,000 U.S. stocks, approximately 1,500 Hong Kong stocks, 1,000 South Korean stocks, and 300 Japanese stocks. Users enjoy 24/7 trading, fractional shares starting from just 0.01, and convenient settlement in USDT — significantly lowering barriers to global asset allocation
Tokenized stocks through gStocks delivered remarkable activity. In August alone, gStocks monthly trading volume surpassed $2.5 billion USDT. Stock assets under management exceeded $200 million in August, while cumulative trading volume passed $2 billion. Gate ranked among the global Top 2 in overall competitiveness for stock spot trading. Popular assets such as NVIDIA, Tesla, Microsoft, AMD, Meta, and major ETFs drove much of this growth after more than 40 new trading pairs were added in July
Wealth management results were equally impressive. Simple Earn assets under management surpassed $1.85 billion, representing growth of more than 24% quarter-over-quarter. USDT assets within Simple Earn increased by nearly 11%. The product range expanded with flexible subscription options for 85 additional assets (with strong focus on gStocks) and 25 new fixed-term earn products covering stablecoins including USDT, USDE, and USDPT. VIP Fixed Term Earn products alone attracted subscription volume exceeding 290 million USDT, with promotional annualized yields on USDT Earn reaching as high as 11%
Staking performance reached new heights as well. Gate Staking peak assets under management exceeded $1.27 billion, an increase of more than 57% from the end of Q2. Idle Earn, the automated yield product for USDT, USDC, and USD1, has already accumulated more than $300 million in total holdings. These wealth products give users practical, accessible ways to put idle capital to work while remaining fully integrated within the broader Gate ecosystem
Security and transparency remain foundational. In August, total reserve assets rose to $8.215 billion, delivering an overall reserve ratio of 127%. Cumulative GT token burns reached approximately 192 million tokens, representing a 63.98% reduction from the initial supply.
These metrics reinforce user confidence and demonstrate Gate’s long-term commitment to platform resilience and token value alignment
Additional industry recognition further validated the quarter’s performance. A CryptoQuant report highlighted that Gate recorded a 667% increase in 30-day spot trading volume in August, ranking first across the industry. CoinDesk data confirmed the $396 billion September derivatives figure and the resulting Top 3 ranking. These independent confirmations underscore the strength and consistency of Gate’s growth
The platform’s multi-asset vision is now clearly visible in daily user experience. A single account can access high-volume crypto derivatives and spot markets, more than 12,800 global stocks and ETFs, tokenized equities with $2.5 billion+ monthly volume, Simple Earn holdings above $1.85 billion, Staking above $1.27 billion, automated Idle Earn products, CFDs across multiple asset classes, options with 52.1% new user growth, and emerging payment and infrastructure layers through Gate Card, Gate Layer, and related services
Growth rates across the board tell a coherent story: 38.2% MoM derivatives growth, 21.9% MoM spot growth, 24%+ QoQ Simple Earn expansion, 57%+ Staking growth, 23.8% QoQ options growth, 52.1% new options users, 63% CrossEx volume growth, 902% retained assets growth, 315% CrossEx user growth, 9.1% RWA perpetual market share, 10.1% overall derivatives market share, 127% reserve coverage, and 63.98% GT supply reduction. These percentages and absolute figures together paint a picture of balanced, multi-engine expansion rather than dependence on any single product line
Gate’s continued investment in product depth and ecosystem connectivity means users benefit from both specialized excellence and seamless movement between asset classes. Whether deploying capital into high-liquidity derivatives, allocating across thousands of global equities, generating yield through Simple Earn or Staking, or exploring newer infrastructure and payment tools, the experience remains unified and increasingly powerful
The numbers from Q3 2026 — $396 billion in September derivatives, $48.8 billion in spot, $1.85 billion+ in Simple Earn, $1.27 billion+ in Staking, $2.5 billion+ in gStocks volume, nearly 60 billion USDT in quarterly ETF volume, 12,800+ stocks and ETFs, 127% reserves, and the long list of double- and triple-digit percentage gains — demonstrate that Gate is successfully scaling trading, wealth management, and traditional finance access in parallel. This is the foundation of a true multi-asset financial platform built for the long term.
