Tokenized Assets: Franklin Templeton Takes the Lead
Traditional finance is making steady progress in tokenization, but the market remains concentrated among a handful of major institutions.
Top Institutional Players
- Franklin Templeton: $2.56 billion in tokenized assets
- BlackRock: $2.2 billion in tokenized assets
Market Concentration Remains High
Only six of the leading institutions have crossed the $500 million mark, while just 11 have exceeded $100 million in tokenized assets.
The takeaway: Tokenization is gaining traction in traditional finance, but a relatively small group of major players still controls a significant share of the market. The next phase will depend on broader institutional adoption, stronger infrastructure, and real-world demand.
