#WCTCS9 Seven days, seven first-draft posts: a starter plan for Gate Square's New User Posting Season
The New User Posting Season is live, and the hardest part is the first sentence. Instead of another formula, here is a seven-day plan. Each day has one topic, one real data point from this week to start from, and one angle you can make your own. Pick the day that matches what you already follow.

What the event offers

I am using the event announcement's own terms here: new users are guaranteed a red packet with their first post, including 10 USDT and 3 USDT large-value packets. A daily quality leaderboard selects 3 winners, each receiving a 100 USDT experience voucher plus official interaction. A monthly creator leaderboard shares 10,000 USDT and Gate T-shirts, umbrellas and water bottles, and the announcement puts the total pool at 15,000 USDT. Red packets are limited, and the announcement says higher quality and more posts mean a larger packet. Check the official event page for the exact rules.

The one rule for every day

Keep each post to one data point, one reason and one risk. A short post that is easy to verify beats a long post that is hard to trust.

Day one: an earnings number

Starting point: Tesla revised its full-year capex guidance to about $20 billion, down from more than $25 billion, and free cash flow came in at positive $1.53 billion against a $4.51 billion expected burn.
Your angle: is the cut efficiency or delay, and what would prove it.
Risk line: one-time items can flatter a single quarter.

Day two: a sector selloff

Starting point: the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell 6.72% to 10,731.98, its lowest close since July 29, with all 30 members down.
Your angle: what signal you would need before calling a bounce.
Risk line: leveraged products can amplify losses in a day like this.

Day three: a ranking that flipped

Starting point: SpaceX briefly passed TSMC in market value on Wednesday, then fell $14.56 to close at $144.75 on Thursday.
Your angle: why rankings are snapshots and what drives the change.
Risk line: share counts differ between data providers.

Day four: cash against spending

Starting point: Meta's purchases of property and equipment of $33.94 billion topped operating cash flow of $32.79 billion, the first time since 2012.
Your angle: how much spending is too much when revenue grows 26%.
Risk line: guidance for next year matters more than one quarter.

Day five: a trust metric

Starting point: Gate reported $8.688 billion in reserves as of October 18, a 118.49% coverage ratio across 500 cryptocurrencies.
Your angle: which part of a reserve report you check first, and why.
Risk line: a reserve ratio is a point-in-time figure, so compare reports over time.

Day six: an event you are entering

Starting point: the WCTC S9 competition runs from October 26 at 16:00 until November 25 at 16:00 (UTC+8).
Your angle: your track choice, your loss limit and what you will do on day one.
Risk line: weights change the score, not the risk.

Day seven: your own recap

Starting point: your six earlier posts.
Your angle: what you got right, what you got wrong and which number you would track next week. A recap is the post that shows the most about how you think, and it is also the easiest to write because the material already exists.

How to make any day better

- Put the date on every number.
- Say what could prove you wrong.
- Use your own words, not a copied headline.
- Mark estimates as estimates. For example, if you calculate a percentage yourself, say so.
- End with one level, date or trigger to watch.

What to avoid

Skip promises of returns, private account details, recovery phrases and unverified links. Do not repeat a claim you have not checked. If two sources disagree, say so in the post, which readers tend to respect.

A small habit that compounds

Keep a note with the number, the date and your view each time you post. After a month, you will have a record of your own accuracy, which is more valuable than any single post.
Most first posts fail because the writer tries to sound important. The ones that work sound curious: here is a number, here is why I noticed it, here is what I will check next. Write that sentence once, and the rest of the plan follows.
