#Gate发布9月透明度报告 12,800+ Stocks and ETFs, One Watchlist That Keeps Me Focused

A watchlist is more than a collection of ticker symbols. For me, it is a way to follow the businesses, industries and market trends that could shape the next opportunity.

Gate’s September 2026 Transparency Report highlights an important milestone: the platform supports more than 12,800 stocks and ETFs. That includes 10,000+ U.S. stocks, 1,500+ Hong Kong stocks, 1,000+ South Korean stocks and 300+ Japanese stocks. The significance is not just the size of the number. It is the range of markets available to explore from one trading platform.

My watchlist choice is NVIDIA (NVDA), because the AI infrastructure story is moving into a phase where expectations need to be tested against real business results.

Why NVIDIA stays on my radar

AI demand is no longer only about chatbots or experimental software. It increasingly involves the computing infrastructure behind data centres, enterprise applications, AI agents and advanced research. NVIDIA sits close to the centre of that infrastructure through its accelerated-computing platforms, networking technology and software ecosystem.

Its latest reported quarterly results provide a concrete reason to follow the company. In its fiscal Q2 2027 results, announced on August 26, NVIDIA reported revenue of $96.2 billion, up 106% year over year. Data Centre revenue reached $89.0 billion, increasing 117% from a year earlier.

Those figures show the scale of demand the business has been serving. They do not, however, mean the share price must keep rising. The market is always looking forward, and even impressive growth can disappoint investors if expectations become too aggressive.

The next test is whether demand keeps translating into results

NVIDIA’s guidance projected fiscal Q3 revenue of $108 billion, plus or minus 2%. That makes its next financial update an important checkpoint for my watchlist. I would focus on whether revenue momentum remains strong, how data-centre demand develops, and whether rising infrastructure costs begin to affect profitability.

The wider industry also deserves attention. AI infrastructure requires chips, advanced memory, networking equipment, power and data-centre capacity. Strength in one part of the chain does not automatically guarantee equal performance across every company involved.

That is why I prefer to follow the business drivers instead of relying on headlines about AI enthusiasm alone.

October 22 brings another reminder about volatility

Recent market coverage has highlighted renewed concerns about the sustainability of AI investment, while NVIDIA’s GTC Berlin keynote on October 21 showcased further developments in AI infrastructure and computing platforms. On October 22, reports also pointed to pre-market pressure on the stock amid broader concerns about technology-sector spending and the economics of AI investment.

For me, this contrast is exactly what makes NVDA worth monitoring: the technology opportunity remains significant, but the market is demanding evidence that enormous investment can generate durable returns.

I would watch the reaction to company announcements, changes in expectations for future earnings and the wider direction of semiconductor stocks. A strong product announcement can improve the long-term outlook without necessarily producing an immediate share-price breakout.

How I would approach this watchlist position

I would not buy simply because NVIDIA is connected to AI. First, I would check the latest price and daily trend, then compare them with recent support and resistance zones on a current chart. I would also review trading volume and the stock’s relative performance against the semiconductor sector.

A convincing move above resistance with stronger participation would carry more weight than a brief intraday spike. If the stock weakens alongside the wider chip sector, I would look for evidence of stabilisation before assuming the decline is over. I would also keep upcoming earnings expectations in view, because valuation and guidance can matter as much as past growth.

My focus is on three things: demand, execution and expectations. Demand tells me whether customers still need the technology. Execution shows whether NVIDIA can deliver at scale. Expectations help explain whether the market has already priced in too much future growth.

Why Gate’s September report matters to my research routine

Coverage of more than 12,800 stocks and ETFs gives users a broader universe to investigate beyond digital assets. Gate’s September report also notes that U.S. stock options launched on September 2, initially covering nine popular names, including NVIDIA, Tesla, Apple, Meta, AMD, Micron, Amazon, Alphabet and Broadcom, with USDT settlement.

The range of available instruments creates more ways to research markets, but product access should never replace understanding the risks. Stocks, ETFs and options have different characteristics, and options can introduce additional risks from leverage, expiration and volatility.

My takeaway is simple: I am watching NVIDIA not because AI is a popular theme, but because its financial results, infrastructure demand and future guidance provide measurable developments to follow. The next opportunity will depend on what the evidence shows, not on how exciting the headline sounds.

A larger market menu is useful when it leads to better research. For me, NVDA is one company worth keeping on that menu and one where patience and disciplined analysis matter just as much as conviction. @Gate_Square
