$XAU USD $NAS100 $BTC
The coming week could bring important opportunities as gold consolidates, Nasdaq 100 faces renewed selling pressure, and Bitcoin attempts to establish a floor around $80,000. The key is to follow market structure, respect major support and resistance zones, and avoid chasing price when momentum is already extended.
1. XAUUSD — Gold: Consolidation Before the Next Move?
Weekly timeframe: Two-candle reversal signals have emerged, but the extended wicks suggest considerable volatility and unresolved liquidity. Given the long lower wick, an immediate sustained rally is not yet the strongest scenario.
Daily timeframe: Gold remains trapped between $4,070 and $4,217, with no decisive directional breakout. A meaningful bullish shift would require at least two consecutive daily closes above the $4,280–$4,315 region.
4-hour timeframe: Although much of the downside wick below $4,070 has been retraced, the significant order block formed on October 2 remains a key structural obstacle. Until price decisively breaks this zone, selling rallies remains consistent with the prevailing bearish structure.
1-hour timeframe: Short-term price action is choppy, with a slight bullish bias. However, weak buying volume could leave the market vulnerable to a bearish ending-wedge formation, followed by a move toward the $4,113–$4,128 fair value gap (FVG) before a potential rebound.
Key levels to watch
- Support: $4,113–$4,118 (1H), $4,066–$4,070 (4H), around $4,024 (daily), $3,885–$3,888 (weekly).
- Resistance: $4,208–$4,215 (1H), $4,254–$4,256 (4H), $4,304–$4,316 (daily), $4,383–$4,400 (weekly).
Trading bias: Neutral to bearish below major resistance. Watch for a confirmed breakdown or rejection before considering short setups. A sustained move above $4,315 would strengthen the bullish case.
2. NAS100 — Nasdaq 100: Bearish Momentum Meets Key Support
Weekly timeframe: A large bearish engulfing candle points to a potential failed breakout above the previous high. Bulls need to rebuild momentum, while rallies into resistance may provide opportunities to assess trend-following short setups.
Daily timeframe: The expected descending-channel structure has given way to a more aggressive breakdown below previous structural support. This suggests that sellers currently have the upper hand, although further downside is not guaranteed.
4-hour timeframe: Bearish momentum remains strong, and the decline has been steep. However, price is approaching an important support region, making fresh shorts at current levels less attractive without a pullback or new confirmation.
1-hour timeframe: The short-term structure remains aligned with the 4-hour bearish trend. Rather than chasing the decline, watch for a recovery into resistance and assess whether sellers regain control.
Key levels to watch
- Support: $28,570–$28,750 (1H/4H), $27,940–$28,120 (daily), $26,100–$27,100 (weekly).
- Resistance: Around $30,000 (1H/4H), around $30,600 (daily), around $31,000 (weekly).
Trading bias: Bearish while price remains below the key resistance zones. The $28,570–$28,750 area is particularly important; a reaction there could determine whether the market stabilizes or extends its decline. The weekly support range is broad, so lower-timeframe confirmation is essential.
3. BTC — Bitcoin: Is the $80,000 Floor Taking Shape?
Weekly timeframe: Bitcoin has recorded two consecutive weeks of bearish correction, with price retracing into previous candle wicks. Despite weakness in global equity markets, BTC has held above $80,000, suggesting relative resilience. However, pressure from U.S. equities and oil-market movements remains a potential headwind.
Daily timeframe: Bearish momentum appears to be losing strength. The $80,000 area is an important zone to monitor for potential bottom formation, but a durable reversal still requires confirmation from price action.
4-hour timeframe: Watch how BTC responds after filling the major $78,500–$80,500 FVG. A bearish ending-wedge pattern could develop around this area, potentially setting up a rebound if selling pressure fades and buyers return.
1-hour timeframe: The short-term outlook mirrors the 4-hour structure. Look for a confirmed change in momentum around support rather than assuming the bottom is already in place.
Key levels to watch
- Support: $80,500 (1H), $79,500 (4H), $78,300–$78,600 (daily), around $75,000 (weekly).
- Resistance: $84,400 (1H/4H), around $89,000 (daily), $93,800–$95,000 (weekly).
Trading bias: Cautiously bullish on a confirmed recovery from the $80,000 region, but neutral to bearish if BTC loses support decisively. A breakout above $84,400 would improve the short-term outlook, while a sustained move below $78,300 could expose the $75,000 region.
Final Outlook: Trade the Structure, Not the Emotion
Gold remains range-bound with bearish pressure overhead. Nasdaq 100 has the clearest bearish structure, but its proximity to support makes patience important. Bitcoin is showing relative resilience and may be attempting to form a base, although confirmation is still needed.
The focus for next week should be on three things: wait for price to reach key zones, demand confirmation before entering, and manage risk if the expected structure fails.
