The World of Solana Meme Coins and Survival Strategies

In the Pumpfun ecosystem, thousands of tokens are born and die every day. The majority simply turn to dust. Those that survive and change lives are usually not the ones bought when they have already surged, but rather the ones caught while still in the wet soil, with a very low market cap, and then held through the ups and downs.

Take for example the token $RISE CA: AyEWYMqt3RcqoASpHwyHTXBUBxHecSgXtHv4JPqwpump

It was launched around October 11, 2026 on Pumpfun. Within minutes (less than 5 minutes) it managed to graduate from the bonding curve to PumpSwap. From a very small initial valuation, the price moved quickly. Several traders and signal groups reported gains of 2x, 3x, 4.4x, up to 5x in a short time. The market cap briefly touched the range of $50,000–$62,000 with tens of thousands of dollars in volume during a very active initial period. The number of holders rose to hundreds (recorded at around 285–412 at the peak of early activity).

Behind that euphoria, like almost all Pumpfun launches, there was bundler activity. On-chain data shows a number of bundler wallets entered early and briefly controlled a significant portion of the supply, a hallmark of market manipulation that commonly occurs during the launch phase. After the initial spike, that pressure subsided. The chart began to "clean" itself of the rapid actions of manipulators and snipers. Volume activity declined, the price underwent a natural correction, and the token entered a consolidation phase. Currently (snapshot around mid-October 2026) public data shows a market cap that is far calmer compared to the initial peak, with limited liquidity and a number of holders adjusting to the declining volume. This is no longer a phase of wild hype, but rather the phase after the first wave has passed.

I've seen too many trends like this: peaking at graduation, followed by nothing but a slow decline

How many early holders are left after dropping from 412? Liquidity depletion is more frightening than a price drop

$RISE is a well-chosen name, but a rise is often followed by a fall—the classic pattern

5x sounds tempting, but can you guarantee that you’ll be one of the lucky ones who get in during the first five minutes rather than an exit liquidity provider?

The bundler’s fingerprints are too obvious—getting into a token like this is just handing money to snipers
