#ETHEarningsUpTo5%BonusAPR

I’ve started looking at ETH a little differently.
For me, holding ETH is not just about waiting for the price to go up. If I’m going to keep an asset in my portfolio, I also want to think about how that capital is being used while I wait. That’s where allocation becomes important.

I wouldn’t put every ETH into one strategy. I’d rather keep a portion as a core holding, keep some liquidity available for a market opportunity, and consider putting the part I don’t need immediately into a fixed-term Earn product. The goal isn’t to chase every extra percentage — it’s to make the portfolio work without losing flexibility.

That’s also why Gate’s current ETH Savings promotion caught my attention. With a net deposit of 0.3 ETH or more, users can subscribe to a 7-day fixed-term ETH product for boosted interest. And for a net deposit of 3 ETH or more, there’s an additional 10 USDT futures bonus for the first 1,000 participants.

My personal view is simple: I don’t want my entire ETH position sitting in the same bucket. Market conditions change quickly, and having some ETH locked for yield while keeping another portion liquid can create a better balance between earning and flexibility.

At the end of the day, the real strategy isn’t just deciding whether to hold or earn.

It’s deciding how much ETH should do each job in your portfolio.

If you were managing 3 ETH today, how would you allocate it?
