#SquareContentMiningUpTo60%
I've always thought the best trading content should do more than generate views.
If someone reads your BTC analysis, understands a level they were watching, opens the trading pair and eventually makes a qualifying trade, there should be a way for the creator who provided that useful information to participate in the value generated.
That's the idea behind Gate Square's Content Mining.
Under Gate's current program, eligible creators can publish content with supported trading-pair information or Square trading cards. When a user interacts with the relevant content and subsequently completes a qualifying trade, the creator can receive a share of the net trading fees generated from that activity — with the program offering up to 60% in fee rebates under its current structure.
But there is an important detail behind that headline: 60% is the maximum, not the default.
The current structure starts with a 10% base rebate for eligible creators. Additional rebate opportunities can come from meeting weekly posting or engagement requirements, while the weekly creator ranking provides another potential boost. Gate also has double-reward provisions for qualifying new creators and returning creators who have been inactive for more than a month.
And I think that distinction actually makes the model more interesting.
The system is not simply saying, "Post something and get paid."
The basic idea is closer to:
Research → explain → engage → connect the relevant trading pair → generate qualifying activity → share in the resulting fees.
That changes how I look at Gate Square as a creator.
If I'm writing about BTC, I can explain the market structure, identify the levels that matter and attach the relevant BTC trading component.
If I'm covering ETH, I can explain the support and resistance rather than simply saying "ETH is bullish."
If I'm discussing an altcoin, I can explain why the market is moving, what could invalidate the setup and what traders should actually watch.
The trading card then becomes part of the information rather than an advertisement randomly placed underneath it.
Gate's current rules cover formats such as short posts, articles, videos and polls, provided the content meets the applicable requirements and contains supported trading-pair information or trading components.
There is also a consistency component.
Under the published program rules, creators can receive an additional 10% rebate by meeting two of the weekly thresholds: at least 10 valid posts, 50 valid likes, 30 valid comments, or 10 valid shares/reposts. Weekly rankings also consider posting volume and engagement, with additional rebate benefits available to the top 100 creators.
That part is important because good content creation is rarely built around one viral post.
It's built around consistency.
One day you might write about BTC.
The next day ETH.
Then you explain a market-moving headline, break down an altcoin structure, discuss liquidity, cover a new listing or simply explain why a certain level matters.
The objective isn't to make every post promotional.
It's to make the information useful enough that people naturally want to interact with it.
There are also rules that creators need to understand before treating Content Mining as guaranteed income.
Gate says rebates are settled weekly and paid in USDT, with a maximum weekly rebate of 1,000 USDT per creator. Qualifying interactions from VIP0–VIP6 users generally need to be followed by a qualifying trade within 60 minutes. Certain activity is excluded, including trades from users registered through referral codes or links, VIP7+ users, market makers and brokers, API trades, stablecoin pairs and zero-fee trading pairs.
Gate's September 2026 creator update also continues to describe Content Mining as a long-term creator benefit, with trading-card content, weekly settlement and the same 1,000 USDT weekly cap.
So the headline isn't really "earn 60% by posting."
The more accurate way to understand it is:
Create useful content.
Build genuine engagement.
Connect relevant trading activity.
Then earn a share when qualifying activity actually happens.
That is the part I find most interesting.
Creators are already spending time researching charts, following macro events, checking market data and explaining what they see.
Content Mining creates another potential layer of value around that work.
You're not being rewarded simply because someone viewed your post.
You're potentially participating in the trading activity that your useful content helps generate — subject to Gate's eligibility and rebate rules.
And that's why I wouldn't focus too much on the 60% headline.
The bigger idea is the connection between information and activity.
Good research creates attention.
Good explanations create trust.
Useful trading content creates interaction.
And when that interaction leads to qualifying trading activity, Gate Square gives eligible creators a mechanism to share in the resulting fee revenue.
For me, that's the real purpose of Content Mining.
Don't create content just to chase the reward.
Create something worth reading first.
If the content is genuinely useful, the monetization layer can follow naturally.
I’ve always believed that good trading content should do more than collect likes. If your market research actually helps someone understand a setup, find a trading pair or make a more informed decision, there should be a way for that value to come back to the creator.
That is what makes Gate Square’s Content Mining model interesting.
Gate allows eligible creators to attach supported trading pairs or trading cards to their Square posts. When users interact with those cards and subsequently complete qualifying trades, creators can receive a share of the trading fees generated from that activity — with the program offering rebates of up to 60% under its current structure.
The important word here is eligible.
This isn't simply “post anything and receive 60%.” The current structure starts with a 10% base trading-fee rebate for eligible creators. Additional rebate opportunities can come through weekly content and engagement requirements, while weekly creator rankings can provide further benefits. Gate also has double-reward incentives for qualifying new or returning creators under the relevant program conditions.
That makes the model much more interesting from a creator's perspective.
Instead of treating content as something completely separate from trading activity, Gate Square is connecting the two.
You research BTC.
You write your market view.
You explain why a level matters.
You attach the relevant trading card.
Someone reads the analysis, interacts with the card and decides to trade.
If that transaction qualifies under the program rules, the creator can participate in the resulting trading-fee rebate.
The value is therefore connected to real user activity, rather than simply the number of views a post receives.
And this is where I think serious creators should pay attention.
You don't need to turn every post into an advertisement. In fact, I think that would defeat the purpose. The strongest approach is still the same one that works in any market: provide useful information first.
A BTC analysis should explain the structure.
An ETH post should explain the important levels.
A market-news post should explain why the headline matters.
A trading idea should clearly explain the setup, invalidation and risk.
Then the trading card becomes part of the content rather than something randomly attached to it.
Gate's rules currently allow eligible formats including short updates, articles, videos and polls, provided they meet the relevant requirements and include supported trading-pair information or trading components.
There is also a useful engagement component.
Creators can qualify for an additional 10% rebate by meeting two of the specified weekly thresholds, including requirements around valid posts, likes, comments or shares/reposts. Weekly rankings also consider content volume and engagement, with additional benefits available to the top 100 creators under the current rules.
So the system isn't only rewarding people who happen to generate one trade.
It gives creators a reason to build consistency.
That part matters to me because building an audience in crypto is not about one viral post. It is about showing up repeatedly with information people actually want to read.
One day it might be BTC.
The next day ETH.
Then an altcoin setup, a macro update, a new listing, a market structure breakdown or an explanation of what is happening with liquidity.
The more useful the content becomes, the more naturally trading cards can fit into it.
There are also limits and exclusions that creators should understand before treating Content Mining as guaranteed income.
Gate currently states that weekly rebates are settled on a weekly cycle and paid in USDT, with a maximum rebate of 1,000 USDT per creator per week. Certain transactions are excluded, including trades generated through referral codes or links, VIP7+ users, market-maker or broker activity, API trades, stablecoin pairs and zero-fee trading pairs.
That means the headline “up to 60%” should be viewed as the upper end of the program, not as a guaranteed rate on every trade.
And honestly, that makes the opportunity easier to understand.
The goal shouldn't be to manufacture engagement just to chase rewards.
The goal should be to create content that people genuinely want to read, then let the monetization happen naturally when that content leads to qualifying trading activity.
For creators who are already spending hours researching charts, following macro news and writing market opinions, this creates another potential layer of value.
You are already doing the research.
You are already writing the post.
You are already building your audience.
Now the platform gives you a mechanism to potentially connect that content with trading activity.
For me, the biggest opportunity isn't the 60% headline.
It is the idea behind it:
Create useful information → build genuine engagement → connect relevant trading cards → generate qualifying activity → earn a share of the resulting fees.
That is a much more sustainable creator model than simply chasing views.
And if you are already posting consistently on Gate Square, I think the important question isn't whether you can make every post promotional.
It's whether you can make every post useful enough that someone actually wants to interact with it.
That's where content starts becoming an asset.
And that's where Gate Square Content Mining becomes interesting.
