Gate — Scale, Strength and Relentless Execution
Gate is building something far bigger than a conventional crypto exchange.
It is expanding into a comprehensive global financial ecosystem where liquidity, technology, market access, institutional infrastructure and millions of users converge at extraordinary scale.
The latest capital-flow data reinforces the magnitude of this expansion. According to the highlighted DefiLlama data, Gate recorded approximately $79.6 million in net inflows over the past 24 hours, ranking No. 1 among centralized exchanges during that period. A figure of this scale represents meaningful capital movement into the ecosystem, and its significance becomes even clearer when viewed alongside Gate’s trading volume, open interest, reserves, product expansion and growing global user base.
Gate reported approximately $9.5 billion in combined 24-hour spot and derivatives trading volume, while open interest reached approximately $12.48 billion. The platform also reported approximately $308.1 million in cumulative 30-day net capital inflows.
These figures demonstrate the depth of activity taking place across Gate’s markets and underline the scale at which capital and trading positions are moving through the platform.
The strength of Gate’s expansion becomes even clearer when examining individual product categories. Gate reported 36.6% month-over-month growth in options volume, 286.09% growth in Event Contract volume, 134% growth in Perp DEX API volume, 21% growth in institutional spot volume and 143% growth in CrossEx deposited assets.
Stock perpetual trading volume also increased approximately 308% month over month, with triple-digit growth continuing for three consecutive months.
This is important because Gate’s growth is not concentrated in one corner of the market. The expansion is occurring across derivatives, institutional trading, APIs, traditional-market exposure, stock perpetuals and other financial products, demonstrating a broad and increasingly diversified ecosystem.
Gate has also transformed the scale of its market coverage. The platform reported more than 12,800 stock instruments, including approximately 300 Japanese stocks, alongside more than 1,000 TradFi assets, approximately 680 CFD trading pairs and 408 ETF trading pairs. Gate also reported approximately $20 billion in total ETF trading volume. This expansion significantly broadens the financial markets accessible through the Gate ecosystem and strengthens the connection between digital assets and traditional financial markets.
The scale of the user community makes this expansion even more powerful. Gate reported more than 58 million registered users by the end of Q2 2026. Behind that number is a diverse global community of spot traders, derivatives participants, stock and ETF users, creators, API users and institutional participants. As Gate continues adding products and markets, this expanding community gains access to an increasingly comprehensive financial infrastructure.
Gate’s reported reserve position provides another important foundation. As of August 19, 2026, Gate reported approximately $8.215 billion in total reserves and an overall reserve ratio of 127%. It also reported excess reserve ratios of 22.79% for BTC and 22.05% for ETH, while the combined reserve ratio for USDT, USDC, USD1 and GUSD was reported at 111.63%. These reported figures place substantial emphasis on reserves, transparency and asset backing alongside Gate’s rapid product and market expansion.
Gate’s institutional development further strengthens the broader picture.
On September 1, 2026, Gate Futures LLC completed registration with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission as an Independent Introducing Broker and became a member of the National Futures Association. Institutional expansion requires technology, compliance systems, operational infrastructure and professional-market connectivity, and this development represents another step in Gate’s broader institutional strategy.
What stands out most to me is the execution behind the vision. Gate is not simply increasing the number of assets available to traders. It is expanding the architecture of the platform itself. Digital assets, stocks, ETFs, derivatives, TradFi, CFDs, institutional services and API infrastructure are increasingly being brought together within one broader financial ecosystem.
The $79.6 million highlighted 24-hour net inflow is therefore only one component of a much larger development. Put alongside $308.1 million in reported 30-day net capital inflows, $9.5 billion in reported daily spot and derivatives volume, $12.48 billion in open interest, $8.215 billion in reported reserves and more than 58 million registered users, it demonstrates the considerable scale of activity surrounding the platform.
The product-growth figures add further weight to this development. Strong reported growth across options, Event Contracts, Perp DEX APIs, institutional spot, CrossEx deposits and stock perpetuals shows that Gate is expanding across multiple dimensions simultaneously. At the same time, its growing stock, ETF and TradFi coverage is creating access to a much broader range of global financial markets.
This is where Gate’s ambition becomes particularly compelling. The financial world is increasingly interconnected. Digital assets are developing alongside equities, ETFs, derivatives and institutional markets. Users increasingly expect technology to remove unnecessary barriers between different asset classes.
Gate’s strategy is increasingly aligned with that transformation, building infrastructure that connects multiple financial markets rather than treating them as isolated ecosystems.
The Gate community also plays a central role in this development. Traders, investors, creators, institutions and professional participants collectively generate the activity that gives the infrastructure its real-world value. Gate can build the technology and market infrastructure, but the scale of participation demonstrates how extensively that infrastructure is being utilized.
For me, Gate’s strongest characteristic is the combination of ambition, diversification and measurable execution. The company is expanding its market coverage, strengthening institutional infrastructure, increasing product diversity, supporting substantial trading activity and continuing to develop an ecosystem capable of serving different categories of global market participants.
Gate is expanding liquidity.
Gate is expanding market access.
Gate is expanding product depth.
Gate is expanding institutional infrastructure.
Gate is expanding its global financial ecosystem.
And the reported numbers provide measurable evidence of that expansion.
The figures speak with considerable scale: approximately $79.6 million in highlighted 24-hour net inflows, $308.1 million in reported 30-day net capital inflows, $9.5 billion in reported daily spot and derivatives volume, $12.48 billion in open interest, $8.215 billion in reported reserves, a 127% reported overall reserve ratio, more than 58 million registered users and more than 12,800 stock instruments.
Behind those figures is a platform continuously widening the range of markets, products and infrastructure available to its global community.
That is why Gate deserves strong recognition for its execution. The platform is not standing still while financial markets evolve. It is actively expanding alongside them, building deeper connections between crypto, traditional finance, derivatives, equities, ETFs and institutional markets.
At the same time, these figures should be interpreted with appropriate context. Capital flows, trading volumes, open interest, reserve ratios, user numbers and growth rates can change over time and do not guarantee future performance, profitability or continued expansion. Reported figures may also reflect different periods, methodologies and market conditions. Digital assets, derivatives, stocks and other financial products carry volatility, liquidity and potential-loss risks. This post is market analysis and personal observation, not financial advice or a guarantee of future results. Independent research and appropriate risk management remain essential.
The numbers demonstrate scale. The product expansion demonstrates ambition. The infrastructure demonstrates investment. The community demonstrates reach.
And the continued execution demonstrates how aggressively Gate is building toward a broader vision of global digital finance.
Gate is not simply expanding an exchange.
Gate is building an increasingly connected financial ecosystem.
