ETH gave me the move I was waiting for and this time I had a very clear exit before entering.

I took an ETHUSDT Futures long at 2,402.99 with 200x leverage. My target was 2,415, and that level was successfully hit. I used only 2% of my wallet for the position and booked 100% profit on the trade, rather than allowing a profitable setup to turn into an emotional hold.

The screenshot shows the position around 2,413.64, already at +77.07% ROI, while my planned target was still 2,415. For me, the important part of this trade was not the leverage — it was the position sizing and having the exit planned before the market moved.

My strategy was simple: I wanted ETH to hold the entry area and continue pushing higher instead of chasing a large move after it had already happened. With a highly leveraged position, even a relatively small price movement can create a large percentage change in ROI, so I kept my wallet exposure small. 2% capital allocation was the risk-control decision; the 200x leverage was not an excuse to increase my actual wallet exposure.

The biggest lesson I take from this trade is that entry, position size and exit should be decided together. A target of 2,415 may look like a small move from 2,402.99, but with leverage, execution becomes much more sensitive. That is why I did not keep moving my target higher just because ETH was approaching it.

I would rather take a planned profit and protect my capital than turn a successful setup into FOMO. The next trade starts with the same rule: small exposure, clear invalidation, predefined target, and no revenge trading.
