JPMorgan has turned more bullish on Meta Platforms, upgrading the stock from Neutral to Overweight and raising its price target from $640 to $820. The new target implies roughly 25.5% upside, signaling stronger confidence in Meta’s artificial-intelligence strategy and long-term growth prospects.
The upgrade comes after Meta’s launch of Muse, a consumer-focused AI agent designed to help users automate tasks such as shopping, scheduling and communication. Muse quickly gained attention, reaching No. 3 on the U.S. App Store, strengthening the argument that Meta could expand AI monetization beyond its traditional advertising business.
JPMorgan analyst Doug Anmuth believes Meta is entering an important phase where AI could become a significant new revenue opportunity. Potential monetization avenues include subscriptions, commissions and other consumer AI services. Meta’s massive global user base also provides a powerful distribution advantage for new AI products.
The bullish call highlights a broader shift in investor focus toward Meta’s AI ambitions. However, concerns remain around massive AI infrastructure spending, valuation and whether consumers will ultimately pay for AI services.
Overall, JPMorgan’s $820 target reflects growing Wall Street optimism that Meta can transform its AI investments into a major long-term earnings driver. $ETH $BTC
