#ZECPlungesOver13%

ZEC just reminded the market how quickly momentum can reverse.
After running from roughly $500 in August to above $1,200, ZEC is now trading around $1,150 following a sharp correction. I’m not looking at this move as simply another “buy the dip” opportunity. After such an aggressive rally, a deep pullback was always possible.
What matters to me now is whether ZEC can form a higher low.
The $1,100–$1,150 zone is my first area of interest. If buyers defend this range and push the price back above $1,180–$1,200, the recovery setup becomes much more interesting. A sustained move above $1,200 could open the way toward $1,220–$1,250, while a clean breakout above $1,250 could bring the previous $1,290+ area back into focus.
But I’m also watching the downside carefully.
A break below $1,100 would weaken the short-term structure. Below $1,050, the correction could become considerably deeper, with the psychological $1,000 level becoming the next major test.
There are also important catalysts ahead. The Zcash NU7 governance vote is scheduled to close on September 14, which could create additional volatility depending on the outcome. Institutional access through Grayscale’s Zcash ETF also keeps the broader ZEC demand story in focus.
Still, I wouldn’t treat either catalyst as an automatic bullish signal.
My trading map is simple:
$1,180–$1,200 reclaim → bullish recovery confirmation
Above $1,200 → $1,220–$1,250 becomes interesting
Above $1,250 → $1,290+ back on watch
Below $1,100 → caution
Below $1,050 → deeper correction risk
$1,000 → major psychological support
For me, the key question isn't whether ZEC already fell 13%.
The real question is whether buyers can turn this correction into a higher low — or whether the recent parabolic move is finally starting to unwind.
