After that aggressive rally, ZEC is now trading around the $1,120–$1,140 area, and the chart is starting to show a much more important battle between buyers and sellers. The recent rejection from the $1,250+ area tells me one thing: buyers are still interested, but sellers are not giving the market an easy continuation.
So my plan is simple — I’m waiting for the reaction, not predicting it.
For a LONG, the zone I’m watching is $1,100–$1,110. If price comes down there and holds, then gives me a clear bullish reaction/reclaim on the lower timeframe, that is the entry I would prefer.
My long idea would be:
Entry: $1,105–$1,115 after confirmation
SL: below $1,075
TP1: $1,155
TP2: $1,200
TP3: $1,250+
But there is another setup I like even more if ZEC shows strength.
If ZEC can reclaim $1,200 with a strong 4H close and then successfully retest that level as support, I would rather enter the breakout/retest than buy blindly in the middle of the range. In that case, $1,250–$1,300 becomes the next area I would watch.
For the SHORT side, I’m not interested in shorting just because ZEC has already pumped.
I want to see a rejection around $1,200–$1,250. If price reaches that zone, gets rejected and starts printing lower highs, then a short setup becomes interesting.
Short idea:
Entry: $1,200–$1,250 after rejection
SL: above the rejection high
TP1: $1,150
TP2: $1,110
TP3: $1,050
The level that really matters to me is $1,100.
Above $1,100, I still respect the bullish structure and prefer buying confirmed weakness or a confirmed breakout.
Below $1,100, I would stop forcing longs. If ZEC loses $1,100 and cannot reclaim it, the correction can extend toward $1,050 and potentially $1,000.
There is also a fundamental reason I’m not blindly bearish here. ZEC’s recent move has been supported by strong market interest, while the Ironwood-related supply migration and renewed confidence around the network have helped sentiment. At the same time, the recent rally became extremely stretched, with overbought conditions and liquidation risk increasing the chance of sharp pullbacks.
So personally, I’m not chasing ZEC here.
My preferred trade is a confirmed long around $1,100–$1,110, or a confirmed breakout/retest above $1,200.
If neither setup appears, I simply stay out.
Sometimes the best trade is not taking a trade.
ZEC plan: wait for confirmation → control the risk → let price come to you.
These levels are a trading plan, not guaranteed targets. With ZEC moving this aggressively, position size matters more than leverage.
