$8.215 billion total reserves as of August 19, 2026.
127% overall reserve ratio, above the 100% full-reserve benchmark.
BTC excess reserve: 22.79%.
ETH excess reserve: 22.05%.
Combined USDT, USDC, USD1 & GUSD reserve ratio: 111.63%.
GT reserve ratio: 131.15%.
XRP reserve ratio: 116.09%.
📈 Trading Growth
Gate reported approximately $9.5 billion in 24-hour spot + derivatives volume, placing it in the global Top 3 according to the cited DefiLlama data. Open interest reached $12.48 billion, also ranking Top 3, while 30-day net inflows reached $308.1 million.
The report also highlights major growth in newer markets:

🌍 Bigger Picture
The report shows Gate continuing to move beyond traditional crypto trading toward a multi-asset financial platform, expanding into stocks, ETFs, CFDs, RWA products, derivatives, wealth management and institutional infrastructure. Gate also says its stock offering covers more than 12,800 stocks, including around 300 newly added Japanese stocks.
Bottom line: August was a strong month for Gate, with rising trading activity, expanding TradFi products and a 127% reserve ratio supporting its transparency and asset-security narrative.
