Samsung at $196: AI Demand Could Be the Next Major Catalyst
Samsung is becoming much more than a traditional electronics giant.
In my view, AI is increasingly becoming one of the most important drivers for Samsung’s future growth.
The company is deeply connected to memory chips, DRAM, NAND and high-bandwidth memory, all of which are essential for the rapidly expanding AI infrastructure. Recent market data also shows Samsung strengthening its position in HBM, while AI-related demand continues to support the broader semiconductor sector.
At the current reference price of $196, I remain constructive.
My key support zone is $185–$190.
If this area holds, buyers could attempt a move toward $205, followed by $220 and potentially $235.
From $196, these levels represent approximately +4.6%, +12.2% and +19.9%.
My resistance levels are $205, $220 and $235.
A strong breakout above $205 with convincing volume could improve momentum considerably.
If AI-related semiconductor demand remains strong, the longer upside scenario could extend toward $250, around +27.6% from $196.
For risk management, my reference levels are SL1 $185, SL2 $178 and SL3 $168.
Potential targets are TP1 $205, TP2 $220 and TP3 $235.
These are technical scenarios, not guaranteed outcomes.
The biggest reason I like Samsung’s AI story is its memory exposure.
Samsung held 38% of global DRAM revenue in Q2 2026, while its HBM share reached 33%, showing meaningful improvement in the high-bandwidth memory market.
Recent reports also point to strong AI infrastructure demand and continuing memory shortages, which can support pricing power across the sector.
My view: Samsung has a strong AI-driven growth story, but $205 is the first level I would watch for confirmation.
Above $205, $220 becomes realistic; above $220, $235–$250 enters the conversation.
Below $185, I would become more cautious and reassess the setup.
The AI revolution is creating a powerful long-term opportunity for memory leaders, and Samsung is one of the companies I believe deserves close attention.$SAMSUNG
