For truly wealthy people, buying luxury cars, buying luxury homes, and even having more beautiful partners will all quickly lose their novelty. The things that provide a lasting sense of achievement are continuously creating, continuously challenging yourself, continuously facing the market, and continuously turning something that originally did not exist into real value. Consumption can only prove that you once made money. Creation is what continually proves who you are.
