Have you felt that after all the AI hype so far, the market is finally getting serious?
Oracle's computing capacity is selling out, OCI revenue surged 121%, and its order backlog reached $664 billion, with capital willing to shoulder cash-flow pressure just to squeeze in. Adobe's third-quarter revenue came in at $6.76 billion, beating expectations, while AI subscriptions grew 150% and guidance was raised, yet the market remains cautious. Those selling the weapons are raking in money, while those making the applications are being forced to prove their cost-effectiveness
As for $CRCL , it is taking a different path. Second-quarter revenue grew to $701 million, but EPS of $0.18 missed expectations, and the stock remains under pressure. The stablecoin sector does not care about the AI narrative; it only cares about compliance and spread income in a rate-cut environment. Once earnings fail to materialize, the market's tolerance is extremely low
$ADBE 's pain point lies on the software side. Although Firefly has been integrated into the entire suite, everyone is questioning whether AI has actually helped raise prices or is merely a last-resort measure to prevent user churn. Competition at the application layer is brutal, and Adobe must continue investing to retain its market share
The market divergence will become even more pronounced from here
▶️Selling computing power and infrastructure is the strongest play in the short term, as orders represent tangible cash commitments
▶️AI applications $ADBE are entering a revaluation phase; only a substantial increase in average customer spending can trigger a second stock price breakout
▶️Crypto financial assets $CRCL mainly depend on rate cuts and macro liquidity, and cannot benefit from an AI premium in the short term
When do you think AI monetization on the application side will catch up with the pace of compute sellers?
