60 million is not just a number. It represents millions of traders, investors, creators, builders and crypto enthusiasts from different countries, backgrounds and experiences who have chosen to be part of the Gate ecosystem.
For me, this milestone is also a moment to look back at my own journey — the first trade, the early mistakes, the exciting market moves, the lessons, the opportunities and all those moments that made this crypto journey unforgettable.
So, Gate asked some great questions. Let me share my story. 👇

📅 What year did I join Gate?
My Gate journey started as a crypto enthusiast who wanted to understand the market more deeply and explore a platform where I could follow different opportunities across the crypto ecosystem.
Over time, Gate became much more than a place where I simply watched prices or executed trades. I started exploring different products, market trends, trading opportunities, campaigns, Gate Square content creation and the wider Gate ecosystem.
The longer I stayed, the more I realized that crypto is not simply about finding the next coin that can move upward.
It is about learning.
It is about patience.
It is about risk management.
It is about understanding market psychology.
And most importantly, it is about continuously improving yourself.

💙 Do I still remember my first trade?
Absolutely! 😂
The first trade is something almost every trader remembers because it feels completely different from every trade that comes afterward.
At the beginning, emotions are much stronger. You see a coin moving quickly and your mind immediately starts thinking:
“Should I enter now?”
“What if it goes higher?”
“What if I miss the move?”
And then comes the classic trader experience…
You enter.
The market moves in the opposite direction.
You start checking the chart every few minutes.

Looking back now, those early experiences were actually valuable lessons.
My first trades taught me something that no chart alone can teach: the market does not care about our expectations.
You can have a perfect-looking setup, but without discipline and risk management, one emotional decision can completely change the result.
That is why today I pay much more attention to support, resistance, liquidity, volume, market sentiment and overall market structure before making a decision.

😂 Was there ever a move that still makes me laugh?
Of course!
Every trader has at least one trade that becomes a permanent memory. Mine is the classic situation where you watch an asset moving strongly and convince yourself:
“This is definitely going higher.”
So you enter because you don't want to miss the move.

And then…
The moment you enter, the market suddenly decides to teach you patience. 😂📉
You stare at the chart thinking:
“Why did it stop moving the moment I entered?”
Then you tell yourself:
“Maybe it is only a small correction.”
A few minutes later:
“Okay… maybe I entered a little too early.”
And eventually you realize the market has given you another lesson.

That kind of experience is funny now, but at the time it definitely did not feel funny!
The biggest lesson was simple:
Never let FOMO become your trading strategy.
A strong green candle is not automatically a buy signal.
A sudden price increase does not mean the next move must be upward.
And sometimes the best trade is simply waiting for a better entry.

📈 What has Gate taught me along the way?
The biggest lesson has been that consistency matters more than excitement.
Crypto markets can move incredibly fast. One day sentiment can be extremely positive, while the next day traders are worried about volatility.
That is why I now prefer a structured approach:
🔹 Identify the major support zones
🔹 Identify resistance levels
🔹 Watch trading volume
🔹 Monitor liquidity
🔹 Understand market sentiment
🔹 Avoid emotional entries
🔹 Plan the trade before entering
🔹 Always consider risk
🔹 Take profits according to the plan
🔹 Never allow one trade to control the entire portfolio
This journey has also changed the way I look at market opportunities.
Instead of asking only:
“Can this coin go up?”
I ask:
“Where is the support?”
“Where is the resistance?”
“Is volume confirming the move?”
“What happens if the breakout fails?”
“Where would my invalidation level be?”
“What is the risk-to-reward ratio?”
These questions make a huge difference.
