Gate has officially surpassed 60 million registered users worldwide, marking a major milestone in its global expansion. Gate announced the achievement on September 2, 2026, highlighting continued growth in its user base, products, and broader financial ecosystem.
The platform says it now supports trading across more than 5,000 digital assets and over 12,800 stock assets, expanding beyond traditional cryptocurrency trading into a broader multi-asset financial platform. Its ecosystem includes trading, wealth management, wallets, payments, Web3 applications, and other blockchain-related services.
Security and transparency remain important parts of Gate’s strategy. According to Gate, as of August 19, 2026, its total reserves reached approximately $8.215 billion, with an overall reserve coverage ratio of 127%, covering nearly 500 types of user assets. BTC and ETH were reported to have excess reserve ratios of 22.79% and 22.05%, respectively.
