$NVDA#NVIDIA

THE AI LEADER IS HOLDING STRONG
NVIDIA is trading around $230.40, with the latest session showing a high near $234.75 and low around $229.47. Despite the broader market facing pressure after the stronger-than-expected U.S. August jobs report, NVDA remained relatively resilient. That relative strength is important because higher Treasury yields and increased expectations for a September Fed hike can normally weigh heavily on high-growth technology stocks.
FUNDAMENTALS ARE STILL POWERFUL
The latest earnings picture continues to support the long-term bullish thesis. NVIDIA reported $96.2B in Q2 FY2027 revenue, up 106% year over year and 18% sequentially. Data-center demand remains the core engine, while the company guided Q3 revenue to approximately $108B ±2%. NVIDIA also expects roughly 70% revenue growth for the next fiscal year, highlighting how strong AI infrastructure spending remains.
THE $230 LEVEL MATTERS
At $230.40, price is sitting close to an important psychological level. Holding above $230 keeps the immediate structure constructive, while the $229–$230 region becomes the first short-term support zone to monitor.
If buyers continue defending this area and price moves back above today's high near $234.75, momentum could strengthen toward the next resistance levels.
RESISTANCE ROADMAP
The first upside test is around $234.75–$235. A clean break and hold above this region would confirm that buyers are attempting another leg higher.
Above $235, I would watch approximately $240, followed by the $245–$250 psychological zone. From $230.40, $240 represents roughly 4.2% upside, while $250 would be approximately 8.5% higher.
The important point is not simply touching these levels. Sustained price acceptance with strong volume would make the breakout considerably more convincing.
SUPPORT ROADMAP
On the downside, $229–$230 is the immediate line in the sand. If that area holds, the bullish structure remains intact.
A decisive break below $229 could bring $225 into focus, followed by the $220–$222 region. Losing $220 with heavy selling would indicate that the stock needs a deeper consolidation before another attempt higher.
VOLUME CONFIRMATION
The latest session volume is above 135M shares, showing that NVDA remains one of the most actively traded mega-cap technology names. Volume will become especially important around $235 because a breakout without participation can quickly turn into a false move.
If price breaks $235 while volume expands, that would be a much stronger bullish signal. Conversely, repeated rejection around resistance combined with increasing selling volume would warn that buyers are losing short-term control.
MOMENTUM VS MACRO
Technically, NVDA remains supported by the powerful AI-growth narrative, but the macro environment cannot be ignored. The August U.S. jobs report showed 162K payroll growth versus roughly 56K expected, while unemployment remained at 4.1%. Treasury yields and the dollar moved higher, increasing expectations for a more restrictive Fed stance.
That creates a fascinating battle: strong company fundamentals versus tighter macro conditions.
NVDA's ability to remain close to recent highs despite that pressure is itself a positive relative-strength signal.
AI DEMAND REMAINS THE CATALYST
The fundamental backdrop is not slowing down. NVIDIA's latest results showed revenue growth above 100% year over year, while the company's forward guidance continues to point toward extraordinary AI infrastructure demand.
Recent developments also strengthen the ecosystem story. NVIDIA announced a $12.93B acquisition of Hugging Face, expanding its exposure to the open-source AI model ecosystem, while its partnership with MediaTek is designed to broaden adoption of NVIDIA technology across custom AI infrastructure.
BULLISH SCENARIO
My bullish setup is a sustained hold above $230, followed by a breakout through $235 with expanding volume.
If that happens, the next roadmap becomes $240 → $245 → $250. A decisive move above $250 would create a much stronger continuation signal and could shift the market's attention toward new highs.
BEARISH SCENARIO
The bearish setup begins if NVDA loses $229–$230 decisively and cannot reclaim it.
In that case, $225 becomes the first downside checkpoint, followed by $220–$222. A break below $220 would indicate that momentum has weakened considerably and that a larger consolidation may be developing.
The key is to distinguish between a normal pullback and an actual trend breakdown.
MY TRADING PLAN
At $230.40, I would not chase a sudden green candle simply because NVDA is a leading AI stock. I would rather watch how price behaves around $230 support and $235 resistance.
A breakout should ideally come with volume confirmation. A pullback should ideally show buyers defending support.
That gives a cleaner framework:
Above $235: bullish breakout confirmation.
$229–$230: immediate structure support.
Around $225: secondary support.
$220–$222: major short-term protection zone.
$240–$250: upside roadmap.
NVDA remains fundamentally one of the strongest stories in the AI semiconductor market, and its latest earnings growth provides substantial support for the longer-term thesis. But at approximately $230.40, the stock is entering a zone where technical confirmation matters more than simply following the AI narrative.
The next major battle is straightforward:
Can bulls turn $235 into support and push NVDA toward $240–$250, or will macro pressure force a deeper retest toward $225–$220?
For me, $230 is the pivot and $235 is the breakout trigger. The reaction around these two levels could determine NVDA's next short-term move.$NVDA
