#BTC — The Next Move Depends on One Battle
Bitcoin is sitting around $79.6K after getting rejected from the $81K–$82K area.
The important part isn’t the pullback itself.
It’s how BTC reacts around the levels underneath.
The stronger-than-expected U.S. jobs report brought fresh pressure from yields and the dollar, while Bitcoin quickly lost the $80K handle after briefly trading above $81K.
My key levels:
Resistance:
• $81.3K–$82K — immediate supply
• $82.8K — major breakout resistance
• $90K — next larger upside target if $82.8K breaks with strong volume
Support:
• $78.5K–$79K — first short-term defense
• $75.7K — important structural support
• $71.8K — major level bulls need to protect
The setup I’m watching is simple:
If BTC reclaims $82K and breaks $82.8K with expanding spot volume, the market could open the door toward $90K.
But if price keeps getting rejected and loses $78.5K, I would expect a deeper test toward $75.7K before looking for another bullish setup.
If $75.7K fails, the chart becomes considerably weaker, with $71.8K becoming the next major line of defense.
Trading plan:
Bullish setup: reclaim $82K → confirmation above $82.8K → targets $86K / $90K
Bearish setup: rejection near $81K–$82K + loss of $78.5K → target $75.7K
Risk setup: a clean break below $75.7K changes the short-term structure, so leveraged longs should be protected rather than averaged blindly.
Volume is the confirmation I want to see.
A breakout without meaningful volume can easily become another fakeout. A breakout accompanied by strong spot buying would be much more convincing.
For me, $82.8K is the line between “BTC is testing resistance” and “BTC is starting another major leg higher.”
Until then, patience is better than prediction.
