60 Million Users, But Behind Every Number Is a Story
When I saw that Gate had officially surpassed 60 million users worldwide, I stopped for a moment and thought about my own journey.
Sixty million.
It is a huge number.
But behind this number are not just accounts or statistics. There are 60 million first trades, 60 million lessons, countless sleepless nights, unexpected profits, painful losses, funny mistakes, friendships, and dreams for the future.
And somewhere among those 60 million stories is mine.
My journey with Gate began around three years ago.
At that time, I did not know that one platform could become connected to so many memories, lessons, emotions, and moments that I would still remember years later.
I joined with curiosity.
I stayed because of the journey.
I Still Remember My First Trades
Like many beginners, my first experience with trading was full of excitement.
Before placing a trade, I would look at the chart again and again.
I would check the price.
Close the app.
Open it again.
Check the price one more time.
And finally, when I entered the trade, something funny happened.
Suddenly, I started watching every tiny movement as if the entire market had become personally interested in my position. 😂
A small green candle would make me happy.
A small red candle would immediately make me question every decision I had ever made.
Looking back, I can laugh at myself now.
But at that time, every single movement felt incredibly important.
“How Did This Even Happen?” 😂
There were moments when I thought I had finally understood the market.
I would enter a trade, the price would move slightly in my favor, and suddenly I would start imagining the perfect outcome.
Then I would take profit.
And of course, the market would continue moving higher.
I would sit there and think:
“Why did I sell so early?”
Then, because I was afraid of missing the move, I would become interested in entering again.
And sometimes, almost as if the market had been waiting for me, the price would decide that it was finally time to move in the opposite direction. 😂
That was one of those moments when all I could ask was:
How did this even happen?
Today, those memories make me smile because they taught me lessons that no simple trading tutorial could teach.
My Journey Was Never Only About Winning
During these three years, I experienced good moments.
I experienced profits.
I also experienced losses.
And honestly, some losses were difficult.
There were times when I was confident about a trade, but the market had a completely different plan.
There were moments when I entered too early.
Moments when I exited too soon.
Moments when I waited because I hoped the price would return.
And moments when I learned that hope is not a trading strategy.
But I did not give up.
That is probably the most important part of my story.
I lost trades, but I never wanted to lose my courage.
Every difficult experience made me stop and think.
Instead of asking only, “Why did I lose?”
I started asking:
What can I learn from this?
Did I follow my plan?
Did I manage my risk properly?
Was I trading based on analysis or emotion?
Was I being patient, or was I simply afraid of missing an opportunity?
Slowly, my losses became lessons.
And those lessons became part of my experience.
Three Years Later, I See Trading Differently
When I first started, I thought successful trading meant finding the perfect trade.
Now I understand that perfection does not exist.
The market can surprise anyone.
My goal today is not to win every trade.
My goal is to become more disciplined with every experience.
I have learned to pay more attention to the overall market trend.
I watch important support and resistance areas.
I try not to chase sudden pumps simply because everyone is talking about them.
I prefer managing my capital carefully instead of risking everything on one idea.
And when a trade moves in my favor, I have learned that taking reasonable profit is often better than waiting for an impossible dream.
My strategy is still evolving because the market is always changing.
But one thing has become clear to me:
Protecting your capital is just as important as making a profit.
The Friendships and Companionship Along the Way
One of the most meaningful parts of this journey has been companionship.
Trading is often seen as something a person does alone—sitting in front of a screen, watching charts, thinking about entries and exits.
But my journey was not always lonely.
I had moments of discussing ideas with a friend.
We shared market thoughts.
We talked about opportunities.
We celebrated when things worked.
And when something went completely wrong, sometimes the only thing left to do was laugh together. 😂
There is something special about having someone understand your excitement before a trade and your frustration after an unexpected move.
We did not always agree.
Our ideas were not always correct.
And the market definitely did not always listen to us.
But those conversations and shared moments became part of the journey.
They reminded me that behind trading charts and numbers, there are real people with real emotions.
That is something I will always remember.
I Lost Money, But I Did Not Lose My Determination
There were times when the market tested my patience.
There were losing trades that made me disappointed.
There were moments when I felt I should have made a better decision.
But I kept moving forward.
Because I understood something important:
One losing trade cannot decide the future of a person who is willing to learn.
I did not become stronger because I never failed.
I became stronger because I continued after failure.
I learned to slow down.
I learned to wait.
I learned that sometimes doing nothing is better than taking a bad trade.
And I learned that patience is not weakness.
In trading, patience can be one of the strongest decisions you make.
My Thoughts Today
After three years, I still consider myself a learner.
The market teaches something new every day.
There is always another chart to study.
Another strategy to improve.
Another mistake to avoid.
Another opportunity to understand.
My approach now is much calmer than when I first started.
I do not want to chase every green candle.
I do not want to trade only because the market is moving quickly.
I want to wait for clearer opportunities.
I want to control my emotions.
I want to continue improving my understanding of risk management.
And most importantly, I want to remain consistent.
My Future Goals
My biggest target is not simply one big winning trade.
I want to build long-term discipline.
I want to continue learning about market structure and develop better trading decisions.
I want to manage risk more carefully.
I want to take realistic opportunities rather than chasing unrealistic expectations.
And I want to keep growing step by step.
My journey has taught me that small progress matters.
One lesson can improve the next trade.
One mistake can prevent a bigger mistake in the future.
One difficult day can teach you patience.
And one decision to continue can change your entire journey.
From My First Trade to 60 Million Users
Today, Gate has crossed 60 million users worldwide.
And when I look at that number, I do not just think about a platform milestone.
I think about people.
I think about someone placing their first trade today with the same excitement I once had.
I think about someone celebrating their first profit.
Someone learning from their first loss.
Someone laughing at a trade that went completely differently from what they expected.
And someone finding a friend who makes the journey feel less lonely.
My own story has included all of these things.
Excitement.
Mistakes.
Profits.
Losses.
Laughter.
Friendship.
Learning.
And most importantly, the courage to continue.
I joined this journey with curiosity.
Over three years, I made memories that became much bigger than any single trade.
I lost on some trades.
I learned from those losses.
I made mistakes that I can laugh about today.
I shared ideas and memorable moments with others.
And through everything, I never completely gave up.
That is why this milestone feels special to me.
60 million users are more than 60 million numbers.
They are 60 million different journeys.
And this is mine.
Congratulations to the entire Gate community on reaching this incredible milestone.
Thank you for being part of three years filled with learning, challenges, unforgettable moments, and growth.
The charts will continue moving.
Markets will continue changing.
There will be more wins.
There will probably be more mistakes too. 😂
But one thing will remain the same:
I will keep learning, keep improving, and keep moving forward.
Here is to the journey behind us.
Here is to the lessons we carry with us.
And here is to the stories we have not created yet.
