Trillions of dollars to build “AI factories”… what does that mean for NVIDIA’s stock?
$NVDA
Jensen Huang talks about building 100 gigawatts of AI infrastructure by the end of the decade, at an estimated cost of $50–60 billion per gigawatt. Source
Mathematically, we are looking at $5–6 trillion if this capacity is achieved at that cost. But this is spending on the entire ecosystem, not guaranteed revenue for NVIDIA or an amount it would pay alone.
📈 Potential impact on NVDA: The expansion of data centers could boost demand for the company’s chips, systems, and networking, supporting earnings growth for years if the plans turn into actual orders and deliveries.
⚠️ But positive news does not guarantee that the stock will rise; expectations may already be priced in. Delays in financing or power availability, along with competition and cost pressures, could limit the benefit.
Is NVIDIA still at the beginning of its growth... or has the stock price already run ahead of it?
