#AugustNFPReportComing

August NFP report could decide whether Bitcoin’s $80K reclaim holds.

The U.S. jobs report is scheduled for today at 8:30 a.m. ET. Economists expect around 56,000 new jobs after payrolls fell by 23,000 in July. Unemployment is expected to remain near 4.1%.

Three numbers deserve attention:

• Nonfarm payrolls
• Unemployment rate
• Average hourly earnings

A moderate jobs number with cooler wage growth could reduce pressure for higher interest rates. That may weaken the dollar and Treasury yields, which would generally support Bitcoin and other risk assets.

A stronger-than-expected report, especially with hotter wages, could increase rate-hike expectations. That would likely pressure crypto in the short term.

However, an extremely weak report is not automatically bullish. It could raise concerns about economic growth and create volatility across all markets.

My watchlist:

1. $BTC around the $80K pivot
2. $ETH and $SOL for large-cap follow-through
3. Smaller altcoins only after Bitcoin stabilizes

My strategy is to avoid opening a highly leveraged position before the release. I will wait for the first reaction, watch the dollar and bond yields, and trade only after the market confirms its direction.

Today, patience may be more valuable than prediction.

8:30 ET will reveal the truth. If wage growth cools in this NFP release and Treasury yields ease, BTC should be able to hold above 80K. But extreme data in either direction is a minefield, so it’s safer to wait for the market to choose a direction before making a move.

56K expected? Feels like the actual figure could easily disappoint. Either way, I’m not using leverage—I’ll wait and see how the dollar and U.S. Treasuries react. No need to rush.
