#BTCReclaims80K

I think $82K is the most likely test in the short term, but consolidation between $80K and $82K is more probable than a direct breakout.

* Momentum: BTC rose very quickly from around $77K to the $81K+ region.

* Short squeeze: The liquidation of over $400 million in short positions significantly accelerated the movement; therefore, it would be incorrect to attribute the entire rise to new spot demand.

* Macro catalyst: Christopher Waller's more dovish messages from the Fed lowered the expectation for a September rate hike from approximately 63% to 50%. This is a significant relief for BTC.

* Critical resistance: The $81.4K–$82.8K band. If the May peak around $82.8K is surpassed, the $85K–$90K region may come into play.

* Risk: If it fails to maintain stability above $80K, profit-taking after the squeeze could lead to a retest of $78K–$77K.

My scenario:
Holding above $80K → testing $82K → breaking through to $85K+.
But rejection around $82K and a few days of sideways movement are also quite normal.

Especially today's US employment data could affect the fate of this scenario; if interest rate expectations become hawkish again, it may become difficult for BTC to stay above $80K.

I would consider a daily close above $82K as a stronger confirmation than the initial breakout at $82K.
