#Gate事件合约晒单挑战 BTC (bullish): reclaim of $78,000 into the jobs report

**Oversold, Whale-Fed, and Facing a Soft Number: My Long on the $78,000 Reclaim**

Bitcoin is trading near $77,400 on September 3, roughly 5.8% below its August 28 local high of $81,474, after a correction that bottomed near $76,732. Two things stand out in that pullback. First, momentum is deeply stretched the Stochastic RSI has dropped to about 16.7, a zone that has historically preceded relief rallies rather than sustained breakdowns. Second, the dip is being bought: on-chain observers note that large holders have continued accumulating through the entire retracement, treating the $76,700–$77,000 area as a value zone rather than a falling knife.

My event contract pick: **YES Bitcoin will be at or above $78,000 at Friday, September 4, 2026, 16:00 UTC.**

Reason one: the macro calendar is tilting in the bulls' direction. Friday's US jobs report lands at 12:30 UTC with consensus near 55K against a prior print of −23,000, with earlier months revised down by a combined 103,000. Markets have already begun trimming rate-hike odds into the release a weak or soft number would widen those moves, ease the dollar and yields, and remove the policy headwind that capped August's recovery. Bitcoin's oversold bounce is waiting for exactly that catalyst.

Reason two: the technical floor is proven. Price has defended the $76,683–$77,000 band multiple times in 48 hours, including two headline-driven flushes below $76,500 that were bought back within hours. A market that absorbs shocks without making a lower low builds the base for a snap-back and from an oversold Stochastic RSI, the first upside target is precisely the $78,000 area before heavier supply takes over near $78,700.

Reason three: supply above is real but distant enough for this trade. The next genuine resistance band sits at $78,700–$80,000, followed by the $83,000–$86,000 overhead deck. My contract targets $78,000 below that first band which means the move requires reclaiming a twice-tested level, not conquering the entire supply structure. Defined target, defined risk.

My invalidation: a daily close below $76,683. If the correction extends instead of bottoming, the relief-rally thesis is wrong and the position is closed no averaging down on a broken floor.

The setup is simple: stretched downside momentum, active whale accumulation, and a macro print skewed toward a dovish surprise. That is the recipe for a reclaim, not a rout.
