SOLANA (SOL) MARKET ANALYSIS — $100 KEY DECISION ZONE

Solana is currently trading around $100, making this a very important psychological and technical level. Recent market data shows SOL has been defending the $100 area after a strong August recovery, while the latest daily structure suggests that buyers still have control of the broader short-term trend, but momentum has started to cool. SOL recently pushed toward the $111–$112 area before pulling back toward $100.

1-DAY CHART ANALYSIS
On the 1-Day chart, SOL is showing a bullish recovery structure with short-term consolidation. The important point is that price is still holding around the psychological $100 level after breaking above it. The daily RSI is around the mid-60s in one recent reading, which means buyers remain active without the market being extremely stretched. However, daily MACD has shown signs of cooling momentum, so another immediate vertical move cannot be taken for granted.

The most important short-term zone is approximately $99–$102. If SOL continues closing candles above $100 and eventually breaks $102–$103 with strong volume, the probability of another move toward $107 and $111–$112 increases. A clean break above the previous $111–$112 area would significantly strengthen the bullish structure.
On the other hand, losing $99–$100 on a daily closing basis would weaken the setup. Below that zone, $97.40 becomes an important support area, while deeper support can develop around $92–$95. Recent technical analysis also identifies $97.4 and $92.6 as important support levels.

7-DAY CHART — WHAT IS THE PATTERN SAYING?
The 7-day structure tells a more interesting story. SOL has experienced a strong recovery but has recently entered a cooling/consolidation phase. One recent market report puts the 7-day performance at approximately -7.44%, showing that the token has been correcting after its earlier rally.

However, the larger picture remains constructive because SOL recently completed a major recovery and August reportedly produced its first monthly gain after a long sequence of declining months. The move toward $111–$112 shows that buyers are willing to defend higher prices, but the market now needs to prove that $100 can become support rather than resistance again.

The key pattern I am watching is breakout → pullback → support test → continuation. If $100 survives this test, the next bullish leg could begin.

KEY SUPPORT LEVELS

S1: $99–$100 — Major psychological support and immediate battle zone.
S2: $97.40 — Important technical support. Holding this level keeps the recovery scenario alive.

S3: $92.60–$95.00 — Stronger downside protection zone and potential deeper accumulation area.
If SOL loses $92.60 with strong selling volume, the bullish short-term structure would become considerably weaker.

KEY RESISTANCE LEVELS

R1: $102–$103 — First major breakout confirmation zone.
R2: $107 — First important upside target after a confirmed breakout.

R3: $111–$112 — Recent major swing/high resistance zone. A clean breakout here could open a much larger upside move.

Above $112, I would watch $115–$120. The $120 region has already come back into focus following SOL's recent breakout above the $100 area.

MY SOL FORECAST

With SOL at approximately $100, my base-case short-term forecast is $107–$112 if the $99–$100 support zone remains intact.

A stronger bullish breakout above $112 could potentially extend the move toward $115–$120, representing approximately +15% to +20% from $100.

A very strong continuation scenario could eventually target $125–$130, but that should be considered a higher-risk extension rather than the immediate base case.

The bearish scenario begins if SOL decisively loses $97.40, with potential downside toward $92.60–$95. A sustained break below $92.60 would substantially damage the short-term bullish structure.

TRADING PLAN

Aggressive strategy: Watch the $99–$100 support zone. If price confirms a rebound and begins making higher lows, traders can consider a small position while keeping risk tightly controlled.

Conservative strategy: Wait for a confirmed breakout and candle close above $102–$103, preferably accompanied by stronger volume. The first objective would be around $107, followed by $111–$112.

Breakout strategy: A decisive move above $112 could signal continuation toward $115–$120. Avoid chasing a sudden vertical candle; waiting for a retest can provide a better risk-to-reward setup.

SL LEVELS

For a hypothetical long setup around the $100 region:
SL1: $97.40 — tight/aggressive protection.

SL2: $95.00 — wider swing-based protection.

SL3: $92.50 — deeper invalidation level.

These are example technical levels, not guaranteed stops. Position size should be adjusted according to the distance to the invalidation level.

TAKE-PROFIT LEVELS

TP1: $107 — approximately +7%

TP2: $112 — approximately +12%

TP3: $120 — approximately +20%

If SOL reaches TP1, traders can consider taking partial profit and moving the remaining position's stop closer to entry. If SOL breaks $112 with convincing volume, holding a portion toward $115–$120 may provide better upside participation.

MARKET SENTIMENT

Current sentiment is cautiously bullish, rather than blindly bullish. One recent reading places crypto Fear & Greed around 65, or “Greed,” while another technical assessment describes SOL's broader regime as bullish but warns about elevated RSI and possible consolidation.

Fundamentally, Solana's ecosystem remains active. Recent reporting highlights strong DEX activity, while Solana's upcoming Alpenglow upgrade is scheduled for mainnet activation on September 28, adding another potential catalyst to watch.

But traders should also remember that SOL is a high-beta asset. Broader crypto weakness, Bitcoin volatility, changing Fed expectations, rising oil prices and geopolitical risk can quickly pressure altcoins. Current macro markets are particularly sensitive to U.S. economic data and Federal Reserve signals.

FINAL PLAN

SOL $100 is the battlefield.

Above $100 → $102–$103 → $107 → $112 is the bullish path.

Above $112 → $115 → $120 becomes the next continuation zone.

Below $99 → $97.40 warns of deeper correction.

Below $97.40 → $95 → $92.60 becomes the downside roadmap.

My preferred approach is not to chase SOL blindly at $100. I would watch how price behaves around $99–$103. A strong defense of $100 followed by a confirmed breakout above $102–$103 would provide a much cleaner bullish signal. Conversely, a decisive loss of $97.40 would tell me to become defensive and wait for a stronger support confirmation.

Bottom line: SOL remains constructive while $97.40–$100 holds. The first major upside objective is $107, then $112, with $120 possible if the breakout gains strong volume and broader crypto sentiment remains supportive. Always manage position size and risk because these levels are scenarios, not guarantees.
