#Gate用户突破6000万 18 months ago, I joined Gate without knowing that I was not simply opening an exchange account. I was opening the first chapter of my real journey into crypto.

I joined Gate in January 2025. At the beginning, a friend explained to me how Gate worked and told me that I could start by creating posts and learning step by step. So that is exactly what I did.

I started with posting. Not trading. Not chasing profits. Not pretending I already understood the market. Just posting, observing, asking questions, and learning.

Every day, I tried to understand something new about Gate and the crypto market. Slowly, I started discovering different features, understanding how the platform worked, and becoming more comfortable with the idea that learning had to come before earning.

But then came the funny part of my story.

I had already worked on several other websites before Gate. Unfortunately, those experiences did not go well. I spent a lot of time, faced losses, and even ended up losing my own money. Because of that history, I had developed a very simple rule in my mind: “If I don’t earn quickly, this must be another fake platform.”

And Gate almost became a victim of that mindset.

I started working, but nothing happened. No earnings. No big result. Meanwhile, the friends who had introduced me to Gate were already earning.

I was sitting there thinking: “Wait… they are getting results, but I am getting absolutely nothing?”

After around two or three months of not seeing the results I expected, I stopped working on Gate. I basically told myself, “Okay, maybe this one is also not for me.”

Then I left.

But something kept bothering me.

If Gate was giving results to the people working around me, why couldn’t I get the same opportunity?

That question brought me back.

And this time, I decided to approach Gate differently.

Instead of expecting immediate earnings, I started putting my effort into learning the platform properly. I continued posting, studied the market, experimented with different ways of creating content, and gradually started understanding what I was actually doing.

That was the turning point.

My name started appearing. My confidence started growing. And, most importantly, I finally understood something that I should probably have understood from day one: Sometimes the problem is not the platform. Sometimes the problem is that we give up before we understand how to use the opportunity.

For me, Gate became much more than a place where I could post content.

I eventually started trading. Then I started live streaming.

Posting became part of my daily routine. Trading became another way of learning. Live streaming pushed me to understand the market even more because when you speak about a market, you quickly discover how much you actually know.

And yes, my trading journey was definitely not a perfect one.

My first trades were not some movie-style success story where I entered the market and immediately became a genius trader.

I took losses. More than once.

There were trades where I thought I had finally understood the market, only for the market to respond with a very clear: “No, you didn’t.”

That part actually made me laugh later.

But then came my memorable DOGE trade.

I had received a voucher, and honestly, I did not expect anything extraordinary from it.

My thinking was very simple: “Let me just apply the voucher. Maybe I can make around 2.3 USDT. That would already be fine.”

So I applied the voucher, entered the DOGE trade, and left it.

I was not sitting there expecting some massive move. I was not constantly refreshing the PnL. In my mind, this was just a small opportunity that might give me a few dollars.

Then afternoon came.

I opened Gate and checked the result.

I expected to see something around the small profit I had imagined.

Instead, I saw +22 USDT.

I literally stopped for a moment.

I checked again. Then I checked again.

“Wait… 22+ USDT?”

My eyes were wide open.

The funniest part was that I had entered the trade thinking that even 2.3 USDT would be a good result. Somehow, the DOGE position had moved strongly enough in my favor that the final profit was almost ten times what I had casually expected.

That was the moment I really understood how quickly crypto can change the numbers on your screen.

DOGE is known for its high volatility, and that volatility can create fast price movements when momentum and trading activity increase. From a trading perspective, the important lesson was not that DOGE suddenly gave me +22 USDT.

The lesson was understanding what happened around the position.

Price movement, momentum, volume, entry level, position size and risk all matter. A fast move can turn a small expected gain into a much larger PnL, but the exact same volatility can also turn against a trader just as quickly.

So I did not look at +22 USDT as proof that every trade would be profitable.

I looked at it as proof that I was finally beginning to understand how a market position could translate price movement into real PnL.

And honestly, the reaction was unforgettable.

I had started the day thinking: “Maybe 2.3 USDT.”

Then the afternoon said: “Here, take 22+.”

My eyes opened faster than the DOGE candle.

For some traders, $22 may not sound like a huge number.

For me, it was huge.

Because it was not just 22 USDT. It was the biggest profit margin I had achieved from my own trading at that point.

More importantly, it came after losses.

That made the number mean much more to me.

I had already experienced losing trades, frustration, doubt and the temptation to stop. So when I finally saw +22 USDT on that DOGE trade, my reaction was not simply: “I made money.”

It was: “Finally… I didn’t quit.”

That is probably the most important lesson Gate has given me.

My first step was posting. Then came learning. Then trading. Then live streaming.

And somewhere between all of those steps, I stopped looking at Gate as just another website and started seeing it as the beginning of my own journey.

January 2025 feels very different from where I am now.

Back then, I was comparing Gate with all the platforms where I had previously wasted time and lost money.

Today, Gate is the first exchange I can genuinely connect with the beginning of my earning journey.

That is why the 60 million user milestone feels so interesting to me.

60 million users means 60 million different stories.

Some people probably joined because they wanted to trade Bitcoin. Some came for altcoins. Some came for futures. Some came for earning opportunities. Some came because a friend invited them.

And some, like me, probably joined without having any idea how important that first step would eventually become.

My story started with a simple post.

I left.

I came back.

I learned.

I lost.

I kept going.

I traded.

I used a voucher expecting around 2.3 USDT.

I checked again in the afternoon.

And suddenly, there was +22 USDT from my DOGE trade.

That number might look small compared with the huge profits people post online, but for me it represents something much bigger.

It represents the difference between wanting quick results and actually developing patience.

It represents the difference between blindly entering trades and starting to understand price action, volatility and risk.

And most importantly, it represents the moment I realized that my journey was finally moving forward.

I still make mistakes. I still have losing trades. I still have a lot to learn.

But I no longer believe that a slow beginning means the opportunity is not real.

Sometimes the first few months are simply the learning period you need before you understand what you are actually doing.

So if I had to describe my Gate journey in one line, it would be:

I joined Gate looking for a way to earn, but I stayed because I learned how to earn.

And the funniest part?

If I had completely trusted my first two or three months of results, I probably would not be writing this story today.

Sometimes the best trade is not entering the market.

Sometimes it is simply refusing to quit.

60 million users, 60 million stories.

My story started in January 2025.

It went through posting, leaving, returning, learning, losing, trading and finally seeing that unexpected +22 USDT DOGE profit after I had only hoped for around 2.3 USDT.

For me, that +22 USDT was not the destination.

It was the moment I realized that the journey had finally become real.

Here’s to the next chapter after 60 million.

And if there is one thing I have learned from this journey, it is simple:

Don’t judge the whole story from its first few pages.

My prediction for my own journey is simple: the +22 USDT DOGE profit was not my biggest achievement it was the first small sign that I was finally learning how to trade with more patience, discipline and understanding. @Gate_Square
