ETH Technical Outlook: Ethereum Holds Above $2.4K as Bulls Defend the Breakout

Ethereum is trading around $2,405, holding above the recent breakout area after recovering strongly from the $2,241–$2,300 demand zone. The structure has shifted toward higher highs and higher lows, but ETH is now facing a key resistance cluster around $2,423–$2,483.

The broader recovery remains constructive as long as price continues to hold above the key EMA and breakout supports.

📈 EMA Structure

20 EMA: $2,324.24

50 EMA: $2,136.92

100 EMA: $2,059.83

200 EMA: $2,169.57

ETH remains above all four major EMAs, confirming a bullish medium-term structure.

The 20 EMA at $2,324.24 is the first major dynamic support, while the 200 EMA at $2,169.57 remains an important higher-timeframe trend level.

📐 Fibonacci Levels

Key Fibonacci levels:

0.236: ~$2,315

0.382: $2,784.60

0.500: $3,163.97

0.618: $3,543.34

0.786: $4,083.46

1.000: $4,771.47

The major upside Fibonacci objective after a sustained breakout is $2,784.60 (0.382 Fib).

🟢 Bullish Scenario

ETH needs to maintain $2,398–$2,405 and reclaim the immediate resistance at $2,423.68.

A confirmed breakout above $2,459.64–$2,483.47 would strengthen bullish momentum and open the way toward:

🎯 $2,503.11 → $2,529.05 → $2,538.00

A clean breakout and acceptance above $2,538 could trigger a larger continuation move toward the $2,784.60 Fibonacci level.

Above $2,784.60, the next major targets become $3,163.97 → $3,543.34.

🔴 Pullback Scenario

After the recent rally, a retest of the breakout zone would be healthy.

Important supports:

$2,398.49

$2,370.85

$2,358.59

$2,324.24

$2,297.55

$2,241.58

Holding $2,358.59–$2,324.24 would keep the bullish recovery structure intact.

A breakdown below $2,297.55 would weaken the current setup and expose the $2,241.58–$2,169.57 support region.

🧠 Market Structure & Liquidity

ETH spent several months consolidating after the sharp February sell-off, forming a broad base around the $2.25K–$2.40K region.

The recent upside move swept liquidity and broke through the previous range structure, producing a clear MSS/BOS-style bullish shift on the chart.

Now, buy-side liquidity is concentrated around $2,423–$2,538. A decisive breakout through this region could accelerate the move as short positions are forced to cover.

The key question is whether ETH can convert $2,400 from resistance into reliable support.

📊 RSI Momentum

RSI is around 61.75, indicating healthy bullish momentum without being deeply overbought.

This leaves room for additional upside if ETH can break the $2,460–$2,538 resistance cluster.

🎯 Key Levels

Resistance:
$2,423.68 → $2,459.64 → $2,483.47 → $2,503.11 → $2,529.05 → $2,538.00 → $2,784.60

Support:
$2,405.75 → $2,398.49 → $2,370.85 → $2,358.59 → $2,324.24 → $2,297.55 → $2,241.58 → $2,169.57

📌 Final Outlook

ETH's technical structure remains bullish, with price trading above the 20/50/100/200 EMAs and RSI holding above 60. The immediate battle is around $2,423–$2,538.

Bullish above $2,358–$2,324 → breakout above $2,538 targets $2,784.60 → $3,163.97 → $3,543.34.

A sustained loss of $2,324 would weaken the bullish structure, while a break below $2,297 could lead to a deeper correction.

Current market data also places ETH around the $2.4K area today.
