Coldcard Wave 3 attacker moves stolen funds on-chain

According to Galaxy’s Alex Thorn, the attacker behind the Coldcard Wave 3 incident has moved stolen funds for the first time, swapping a portion into $ETH through THORChain.
Notably, this marks the first known on-chain movement from the original attacker addresses across Waves 1, 2, and 3.
On-chain activity is now under close watch as the story continues to develop.

THORChain played this round of anonymous bridging well, but on-chain tracking teams have probably already mapped the route—they won’t get away.

The first movement of funds suggests they are either getting anxious or are ready; let’s see whether they move into Tornado later.

Even cold wallets can be drained; Wave 3’s attack method is worth reviewing. Is transferring ETH now meant to blend into DeFi or prepare to cash out?
