What year did you join Gate? Do the math—how long have you been in crypto?
If the crypto market were a school, then every bull and bear cycle would be a final exam.
When they first enter the market, many people think trading is simple.
Buy when it rises, sell when it falls.
Only later do they realize that the truly difficult part is whether you dare to buy when prices are rising, whether you dare to hold when they are falling, and whether you can stay calm after a sudden surge.
Your first trade is often the most memorable.
It may have been BTC, ETH, or even some small coin whose name few people remember today.
At the time, you thought you had found the secret to wealth.
Years later, looking back, you realize that the so-called secret to wealth may have simply been “the market’s first lesson to you.”
Some people chased the price after hearing some news and were taught a lesson by the market the very next day; some sold too early and watched helplessly as the price continued to double; and some had it worst of all—they held for a long time, finally sold, and the price started surging the very next day.
If this happens once, it is an accident.
If it happens three times, it can only be called experience.
But whether they make or lose money, these experiences all become traders’ own stories.
