#NvidiaMarketCapBackAbove5.4T

$NVDA
NVIDIA is back above the $5.4 trillion market-cap level but the bigger story is whether the AI leader can turn this strength into another sustained breakout.

At the latest market snapshot, NVIDIA is trading around $225.83, putting the company back in the neighborhood of the $5.4 trillion valuation highlighted by the hashtag. The move comes as investors continue to reprice the strength of AI infrastructure demand following NVIDIA’s latest earnings.

The fundamental numbers remain extraordinary. NVIDIA reported $96.2 billion in quarterly revenue, up 106% year over year, while Data Center revenue reached $89.0 billion, up 117% from a year earlier. Gross margin remained around 75%, showing that the company is still generating exceptional profitability despite the enormous scale of its AI business.

The next number traders should remember is $108 billion. NVIDIA guided for approximately $108 billion of revenue for the following quarter, plus or minus 2%. That guidance is important because the market is no longer asking whether AI demand exists; the question is how long NVIDIA can continue converting that demand into triple-digit growth.

Blackwell remains at the center of the story, while the next generation of NVIDIA’s platform is increasingly becoming part of the forward narrative. Analysts have also highlighted the potential contribution from Rubin as NVIDIA moves through its next product cycle.

From a technical perspective, $225–$228 is now an important short-term zone. NVIDIA has recently pushed toward approximately $227.93, making that area a clear reference point for momentum traders. A decisive move above it with strong volume could strengthen the case for another attempt at record territory.

The opposite scenario is equally important. If NVDA repeatedly fails near $228 and sellers push the price back below the $220 area, momentum could cool and traders may start watching the $216–$218 region as the first meaningful support zone. A deeper pullback would not automatically invalidate the long-term AI thesis; after such a powerful run, consolidation can simply become part of the trend.

Volume is another confirmation tool. A breakout supported by expanding volume would be much stronger than a move above resistance on declining participation. RSI should also be monitored carefully: if momentum becomes heavily overbought while price approaches major resistance, short-term profit-taking becomes more likely. But an overbought RSI during a powerful fundamental uptrend is not, by itself, a sell signal.

MACD provides another layer. A bullish crossover with an expanding histogram would support continuation, while a bearish divergence between price and momentum could warn that the rally is losing speed. For longer-term trend confirmation, the major moving averages remain more important than a single intraday indicator.

There is also a bigger market effect behind NVIDIA’s valuation.

With a market capitalization above $5.4 trillion, NVIDIA is no longer simply another semiconductor company. Its size means movements in NVDA can influence the Nasdaq, semiconductor stocks, AI infrastructure names and overall investor sentiment toward growth equities. When NVIDIA rallies strongly, the market often interprets it as confirmation that AI capital spending remains healthy.

And the latest results provide strong evidence for that argument.

The Data Center business alone generated $89 billion in quarterly revenue. That means NVIDIA is capturing enormous spending from cloud providers and AI infrastructure builders, while demand is spreading beyond a small number of customers as new AI labs, startups and enterprise applications scale.

But at a $5.4 trillion valuation, expectations are extremely high.

The main risk is no longer simply whether NVIDIA can grow. It is whether future growth can remain strong enough to justify the valuation. Competition, export restrictions, supply constraints, customer concentration, AI-capital-spending cycles and the eventual transition between GPU generations can all influence the next phase of the stock.

That is why the market reaction to future earnings may become increasingly sensitive. A result that would have been considered spectacular several years ago could eventually be viewed as merely “good enough” if investor expectations become too aggressive.

For now, however, the combination of fundamentals and momentum remains powerful.

$96.2B quarterly revenue. $89B Data Center revenue. 117% Data Center growth. 75% gross margin. $108B next-quarter revenue guidance. And a market capitalization returning above $5.4T.

Those numbers explain why NVIDIA continues to sit at the center of the AI investment narrative.

My technical framework is simple: $228 is the immediate breakout area, $220 is the first momentum-support zone, and $216–$218 is the next area to watch if sellers gain control. Holding above these levels while volume remains strong would keep the bullish structure intact.

The $5.4 trillion milestone is impressive, but the real test is what comes next.
NVIDIA now has to prove that its AI leadership can continue growing faster than the expectations already built into its enormous valuation.

That is where the next major move in NVDA could be decided. @Gate_Square
